Increased appetite during ovulation

Increased appetite during ovulation

Ovulation is a period that occurs every month in women, during which the chance of pregnancy is very high. Of course, during the ovulation period, due to certain changes in hormones in women's bodies, women will also have some abnormal reactions, such as increased appetite. In addition, there are also reactions such as decreased resistance and changes in basal body temperature. Below I will introduce to you the changes that women undergo during ovulation!

1. Decreased immunity

During ovulation, a woman's vaginal mucus becomes thinner, allowing sperm to pass more easily and increasing the chances of successful conception. At the same time, a woman's nasal mucus also decreases, increasing the chances of bacteria invading the human circulatory system.

2. Changes in basal body temperature

During a menstrual cycle, the basal body temperature of normal women of childbearing age is lower before ovulation and rises after ovulation. Generally, the temperature difference between the two can reach about 0.5℃, showing a typical biphasic body temperature curve. This body temperature curve indicates that the ovaries have ovulation function, and the junction of the high and low body temperature curves is the ovulation date of the ovaries.

3. Increased leucorrhea

This is a common gynecological problem for many women, and the symptoms are more obvious before and after menstruation. Everyone knows that leucorrhea is a woman's vaginal discharge during ovulation. The leucorrhea secreted by normal women is an odorless, slightly acidic viscous substance that has the functions of moistening the vagina, excreting waste, and inhibiting the growth of pathogens. This is a normal physiological phenomenon. However, if the amount of vaginal discharge increases before and after the menstrual period, it proves that it is the female's ovulation period.

4. Ovulation bleeding

It is a symptom after ovulation, usually lasting 2-3 days, with little bleeding, sometimes only showing as slightly reddish leucorrhea. Ovulation bleeding may be caused by the fact that after the mature follicle ruptures and ovulates, the estrogen level drops sharply, unable to maintain normal endometrial growth, causing local shedding of the surface layer of the endometrium, resulting in breakthrough bleeding. Bleeding may be accompanied by pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen, which generally does not require treatment.
