Is 25mm still considered a high-quality follicle?

Is 25mm still considered a high-quality follicle?

Most of the infertility symptoms in women of childbearing age are caused by ovulation disorders. After suffering from ovulation disorders, the most obvious symptom of the body is the immature development of follicles. Some women have clearly reached the ovulation period, but they just don’t ovulate. If they want to get pregnant, they need to make the follicles ovulate. If the follicles have grown to 25mm, are these follicles of high quality? Many women are particularly concerned about this issue.

Is 25mm still considered a high-quality follicle?

The follicles are developing a little too large and are not high-quality follicles. It is best to continue observing whether they can be successfully discharged. If they can be discharged, it is better. If they cannot be discharged, there is no way to get pregnant. It is necessary to check the cause of the anovulation and then provide treatment.

What happens if the follicle grows to 25mm but is not discharged?

The diameter of a woman's dominant follicle during ovulation is about 15-30mm. Under the action of the peak levels of hormones, luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone in the body, the egg will be discharged normally. If the follicle diameter exceeds 25mm and the egg is still not discharged normally, this may be caused by an abnormality in the peak level of luteinizing hormone in women, or abnormal levels of other hormones. This situation can lead to ovulation disorders, anovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and difficulty in conception. Six hormone tests can be done to understand the function of the ovarian axis.

What does it mean when a woman has follicles but does not ovulate?

The most common abnormalities clinically are follicular dysplasia and the absence of follicular development. Nowadays, ultrasound examination can effectively detect the development of follicles and whether ovulation has occurred.

Whether the growth rate and degree of follicles are normal are directly related to whether mature and well-developed eggs can be discharged. Only when the follicles are mature can they function well and it is possible to discharge mature and healthy eggs. If the follicles do not develop well, normal eggs cannot be discharged or ovulation may not occur.

The absence of ovulation is usually related to endocrine disorders, poor ovarian function and other factors. This is a common infertility syndrome. Normally, the follicles in a woman's ovaries develop slowly. After countless rounds of selection, one of the eggs develops into a mature follicle, which then undergoes ovulation and corpus luteum formation.

Why do women have follicles but no ovulation?

There are many reasons why women do not ovulate, such as: hypothalamus, pituitary gland, ovarian anovulation, luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome, endocrine system, severe nutritional deficiencies, etc., all of which may affect the normal ovulation of women's ovaries and lead to infertility. Finding out the cause of infertility is the key to treatment.

If a woman already has follicles but is unable to ovulate, we need to take some good methods to treat it in time. The most common symptom clinically is follicular hypoplasia, which is actually directly related to female endocrine disorders and ovarian diseases. This is one of the most common infertility syndromes. As soon as we first discover this disease, we need to take good measures.
