Thick vaginal discharge in early pregnancy

Thick vaginal discharge in early pregnancy

Discharge is a very important thing for women. If you observe the discharge carefully in the vagina, you may find that there is inflammation in the body. Some women's discharge will turn yellow, and they will also have symptoms of genital itching, which are mostly caused by inflammation. So what is the reason for the thick leucorrhea? What should I do if my leucorrhea is thick in early pregnancy?

In the early stages of pregnancy, women's body hormones increase, especially estrogen, which will cause increased female secretions. If the color of leucorrhea is milky white or creamy white, and there are no uncomfortable symptoms such as itching or burning sensation in the vagina, it is normal for the secretions to be sticky and lumpy. If the discharge turns yellow and appears to be thin lumps of water or a lump of leucorrhea, it is considered to be related to fungal infection and you need to go to the hospital for treatment immediately.

Because the early pregnancy is a critical period of fetal development, it is easy to be affected by various external factors and lead to miscarriage or fetal malformation. Therefore, when trichomoniasis vaginitis or other inflammations occur, you should go to the hospital in time and use medicines under the guidance of a doctor. Do not take medicines casually to avoid adverse effects on the fetus.

In addition, thick leucorrhea usually occurs during ovulation, just like egg white. It is a liquid secreted from the vagina. Its main function is to lubricate the vagina. It can also inhibit bacteria and protect the vagina. Different reactions of the secretions mean different symptoms. If the secretions are colorless, transparent and sticky, it may be caused by certain drugs.

Although the appearance of the discharge may appear normal, the amount is large and it is easy to cause back pain. Tofu-like leucorrhea is caused by candidal vaginitis, cervicitis, etc. It is caused by bacterial infection. The color is light yellow or light green, and it is accompanied by a foul smell. If the secretion is like tofu-like leucorrhea, it is also a type of vaginitis, and is usually accompanied by itching. In severe cases, there will be blood in the secretion.
