How to check breast health

How to check breast health

When girls enter puberty, various female characteristics of their bodies will begin to develop gradually and become mature. During the development period, girls' breasts will gradually grow larger, but some people's breasts are unhealthy during the development process and need to be checked in time and treated as soon as possible. This requires people to understand how to check whether their breasts are healthy. Let’s learn about it below.

Self-test method

The breast is an ectodermal organ that originates from the skin and belongs to the superficial structure of the chest wall. Girls' breasts begin to develop at the age of 12 to 13 and are basically mature at the age of 15 to 17. Although there are differences among different races and ethnic groups, the mammary gland is generally composed of 15 to 20 lobes. Breast hypoplasia is essentially a tissue deficiency, so the treatment should be to increase the breast contents, expand the volume, improve the appearance, and make women show their unique curves and charm.

Check in front of the mirror: Stand in front of the mirror with your hands down and check whether the appearance of your breasts is normal. Are the nipples sunken, the skin wrinkled, swollen, etc.? Gently pinch the nipples to see if there is any secretion? Then check your armpits to see if there are any swollen lymph nodes. Finally, raise your hands above your head and repeat this process.

Lie flat for examination: Lie on your back in bed. If you have full breasts, place a small pillow or a folded towel under your left shoulder. Put your left hand behind your head, straighten and put the fingers of your right hand together. Press lightly on the left breast and make small circle massage. At this time, you can imagine the breast as a clock face, and check from the 12 o'clock position in a clockwise direction (you can also use a counterclockwise direction, but the direction must be the same) to the origin, and massage at least 3 circles. Following the above method, use your left hand to examine the right breast.

1. Observe whether the breasts are of consistent size. 2. Observe whether the positions of both breasts are symmetrical and whether they are the same height. 3. Observe whether the shapes of both breasts are symmetrical and whether there are any bulges or depressions. 4. Observe whether the nipple is normal and whether there is any sunken or discharge. If any abnormality is found in the above steps, you need to go to the hospital for further examination. 5. Lie on your back in bed, raise your right hand above your head, stretch out and put your left fingers together, and gently touch the right breast with the palm of your fingers, starting from the inside, from top to bottom, then touch to the outside to the armpit, and feel for lumps one by one. Then examine the left breast in the same way. Be careful not to twist your breasts with your fingertips or hold them in your hands during examination, as this may cause normal breast tissue to be mistaken for a lump. If you feel a suspicious lump, you should ask your doctor for further examination. When touching and examining the breasts with your hands, you should pay attention to the following points: 1. If a lump is found, pay attention to the location, size, hardness, pain, surface condition and mobility of the lump. 2. Whether the lump is adhered to the skin. 3. The best time to check is 7-10 days after menstruation.
