1. For women with relatively stable menstrual periods: It is generally the 14th day before the next menstrual period. The 5 days before this day, including this day and the 4 days after this day, are called the ovulation period. In other words, the ovulation period of an average woman is ten days.

For example, suppose a woman has a regular menstrual cycle of 30 days. The first day of this menstruation is June 25th, so the next menstruation will come on July 25th, and the ovulation day will be 14 days before July 25th, which is July 11th. The 5 days before ovulation are July 6th, and the 4 days after ovulation are July 15th, so the ovulation period is from July 6th to July 15th.
