Whether a woman gives birth naturally or by caesarean section needs to be considered in combination with the physical condition of the pregnant woman herself. There are many factors that affect a woman's natural birth, and it needs to be determined based on the size of the woman's pelvis and the size of the fetus. You cannot simply judge whether the birth can be achieved based on the head and tail of the fetus or the abdominal circumference. In fact, no matter which method of delivery is chosen, it must be done under the guidance of a doctor. Under what circumstances can a natural birth occur? The first point is about uterine contractions. Generally speaking, the stronger the uterine contractions, the faster the birth will be. The age, physical condition and weight of the baby in the belly of some pregnant mothers will affect the contraction of the uterus, so whether a natural birth is possible depends on this condition. The second point is about pelvic size. It is generally believed that the larger the pregnant woman's pelvis, the greater the chance of successful natural birth. But this is not necessarily absolute. This requires consideration of many factors. But normally, if the pelvic diameter is about ten centimeters, a natural birth is possible. But sometimes the baby in the belly is too big and a natural birth is not possible. Some people's pelvis is smaller than 9.8 cm, but because the fetus is relatively small, they can still have a successful natural birth. The third point is the weight of the fetus. Some pregnant mothers do not control their diet well during pregnancy. They eat too much or eat food containing too much fat, which causes the fetus to absorb too much and become overweight. This may lead to dystocia during normal delivery. Therefore, pregnant mothers should control their diet if they want to give birth naturally. The fourth point is the age of the pregnant woman. If a pregnant woman is under 24 years old, her body is not mature enough and her pelvis is not fully formed, so a natural birth may be life-threatening. For older mothers, their pelvis is stiff and not easy to expand and stretch, and their uterus has poor contraction ability, so it is easy to cause dystocia. In these situations, it is not advisable to choose natural birth, and it is best to choose caesarean section. The fifth point is to exercise more. If the pregnant mother decides to have a natural birth during pregnancy, then she should do appropriate exercise during pregnancy. Only by doing proper exercise can she shorten the time of natural birth and avoid dystocia. Because of increased exercise in daily life, the pregnant mother's physical fitness has improved, the heart and lung functions have also been strengthened, and complications can be reduced. Therefore, regular exercise is necessary to ensure a better delivery. The sixth point is to have regular check-ups to see if the fetus is normal. Regular prenatal check-ups can show whether the fetus is normal, whether there is any malposition or the umbilical cord around the neck, so that when problems are discovered the fetal position can be corrected in time to ensure a smooth delivery. |
