What causes increased vaginal discharge and lower abdominal distension?

As we all know, women's leucorrhea is a kind of body secretion, and although it usually has no effect on the body, it does have a great relationship with women's physical health, especially reproductive health. Abnormal vaginal discharge in women may mean that she has a serious gynecological disease and needs to be checked and treated promptly. So, what exactly is going on with increased leucorrhea and lower abdominal distension?

It cannot be generalized that excessive vaginal discharge means pregnancy. It can be said that it is, or it can not be said that it is. It depends on whether you have any other abnormal symptoms when you have a lot of leucorrhea.

One of the reasons for excessive vaginal discharge: pregnancy

If you are pregnant, there will be a significant increase in leucorrhea. This is because after pregnancy, the estrogen in the body gradually increases with the advancement of pregnancy months. Estrogen can promote the secretion of mucus by the cervix and endometrial glands. The blood flow in the genitals, vagina, and cervix of pregnant women is vigorous, and the tissue water increases, so the secretions also increase, and the amount of leucorrhea also increases accordingly.

The second reason for excessive vaginal discharge: uterine fibroids

Increased leucorrhea, back pain, lower abdominal distension, abdominal pain, shortened menstrual cycle, heavy menstrual flow, and prolonged menstrual period. Irregular vaginal bleeding; abdominal distension, a lump felt in the lower abdomen, or frequent urination, constipation, difficulty in defecation, and infertility.

The third reason for excessive vaginal discharge: cervicitis

The amount of leucorrhea is large, milky white mucous or light yellow purulent, occasionally mixed with a small amount of blood, and there is pain in the lumbar and sacral area and downward pain in the pelvic area, which may cause infertility.

The fourth reason for excessive leucorrhea: vaginitis

The amount of leucorrhea increases, and is thin and foamy or white and thick and resembles bean curd residue, and is odorless or has a foul odor. There is itching and burning pain at the vaginal opening and vulva, or pain during sexual intercourse, and sometimes frequent and painful urination, and sometimes hematuria.
