If mothers have kidney disease, it is best not to eat cherries to avoid causing high blood potassium and affecting health.

Mothers should not eat cherries on an empty stomach. When the stomach is empty, the secretion of gastric acid will increase. The gastric acid combines with the pectin and soluble substances in cherries to form insoluble precipitates, which can cause indigestion or diarrhea.
