Anal swelling during ovulation

Anal swelling during ovulation

The ovulation period is a very important period for women because it has a certain impact on their normal reproductive function. Only if ovulation is normal can a woman become pregnant. During the ovulation period, women will experience some physiological reactions, such as anal swelling, which is a common symptom. Below, I will introduce you to the relevant knowledge about ovulation period in detail!

1. 4 changes in ovulation

1. Higher pitch: Experiments show that as women approach ovulation, their voices become higher. Before and during ovulation, the female voice slowly reaches its highest pitch. At present, the reasons for this phenomenon remain to be investigated.

2. The brain is more creative: Women's brains are most active during the ovulation period. This is because as estrogen levels in the body increase, a person's cognitive abilities also increase.

3. More attractive to men: During ovulation, women will exude a more charming scent, which often makes men more fascinated.

4. Stronger jealousy: During the 12-21 days of the menstrual period (ovulation period), women will have a lower degree of recognition and acceptance of other women. Of course, this picky mentality will gradually fade away with the end of the ovulation period.

2. 3 major physiological changes to grasp the ovulation period

1. Anal swelling or lower abdominal pain on one side

Some women are more sensitive and may feel a slight feeling of falling in the anus around the 12th day of their menstrual period, along with slight pain in one side of the lower abdomen. This is because the mature egg is discharged from the surface of the ovary and has to break through the follicle that covers the surface of the egg. The small amount of fluid in the follicle will flow into the lowest part of the pelvic cavity.

2. Ovulation bleeding and temperature rise

Some women will experience a small amount of bleeding during ovulation. This is because the ovaries are responsible for the secretion of female endocrine hormones, and it is caused by the fluctuation of estrogen secretion in the body before and after ovulation.

3. Increased vaginal discharge

During the ovulation period, women's vaginal secretions will increase significantly and become thin and milky white. The private parts will become moist and slippery, and there will be egg white-like strips of mucus when wiped with toilet paper. This increase in vaginal discharge usually lasts for 2-3 days, which is the time when women are most likely to get pregnant.

3. 3 physical methods to self-test ovulation

1. Basal body temperature method

The basal body temperature is lower after menstruation and during the follicular phase. After ovulation, the corpus luteum is formed in the ovary, and the progesterone produced acts on the hypothalamic temperature regulation center, causing the body temperature to rise by 0.3-0.5℃, which lasts until 1-2 days before menstruation or the first day of menstruation, when the body temperature returns to its original level. Therefore, women should start measuring their body temperature from the first day of menstruation and record the daily body temperature to make a basal body temperature chart.

2. Cervical mucus method

During the ovulation period, women can insert their fingers deep into the vagina and pick up some of the mucus flowing from the cervix, which can basically be pulled into thin threads up to 10 cm long without breaking. After ovulation, the secretion of mucus decreases significantly, the ductility is poor, and it is easy to break when drawing.

3. Ovulation test strips

During each menstrual cycle of women, the luteinizing hormone (LH) in the urine will reach a peak level 24-48 hours before ovulation. Using ovulation test strips can more accurately detect the peak level of LH. After starting the test, you should test regularly every day. When the color is about to reach the peak, you should test every 12 hours until the LH peak is detected.
