Does the absence of stringy leucorrhea mean low estrogen?

For most women, low estrogen is a very serious problem. Estrogen plays an irreplaceable role in the female body. Only when estrogen secretion is normal can women be healthy and beautiful, and their bodies will develop better. If men have low estrogen, it will bring a series of hazards, such as gynecological diseases. Some women's leucorrhea does not have stringy texture. Could this be caused by low estrogen?

Does the absence of stringy leucorrhea mean low estrogen?

Normal leucorrhea should be milky white or colorless and transparent, with a slightly fishy smell or no smell; its secretion amount and texture are affected by the levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, and vary cyclically with the menstrual cycle, with varying amounts, textures and thicknesses. Opinions and suggestions: Generally, the amount of leucorrhea is less after the menstrual period; before ovulation, due to the increase in estrogen levels in the body, the epithelial cells of the cervical glands proliferate, the secretion of cervical mucus increases, and the sodium chloride content in the mucus increases, which can absorb more water, causing the leucorrhea to increase during ovulation, and the texture is thin, clear, and looks like egg white, which can be stretched into long threads; after ovulation, estrogen levels gradually decrease, progesterone levels increase, the secretion of cervical mucus is inhibited, and the sodium chloride content in the mucus also decreases, making the leucorrhea at this time thick, milky white, less ductile, and easy to break when stretched.

Leucorrhea is a sticky white liquid that flows out of the vagina of women. It is a mixture of secretions from the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrium, exudate from the vaginal mucosa, and desquamated vaginal epithelial cells. Leucorrhea contains lactobacillus, lysozyme and antibodies, so it has the effect of inhibiting bacterial growth. After marriage, leucorrhea can also lubricate the vagina and facilitate sexual intercourse. The formation of leucorrhea is closely related to estrogen, so pre-pubertal girls generally do not have leucorrhea. After puberty, the ovaries begin to develop and secrete estrogen to promote the development of the reproductive organs, and leucorrhea begins to appear at this time. During each menstrual cycle, the quality and quantity of leucorrhea changes as the secretion of estrogen varies.

Generally, the secretion of estrogen reaches its peak between two menstrual periods (equivalent to the ovulation period). Excessive estrogen stimulates the cervical glands to secrete more mucus, so the leucorrhea at this time is abundant, transparent, sticky like egg white, and can be pulled into threads, and the vulva feels moist. After the ovulation of the follicle, progesterone increases and inhibits the secretion of cervical mucus. At this time, the leucorrhea is less in amount and thicker. In the few days before and after menstruation, due to pelvic congestion, vaginal exudate increases, and leucorrhea also increases slightly. Because it contains more exfoliated cells, the leucorrhea is turbid. In addition, the amount of vaginal discharge also increases after pregnancy, during sexual excitement, and after sexual intercourse. After menopause, women's vagina becomes dry and without leucorrhea due to the decline of ovarian function and lack of estrogen in the body.
