What to do if you bleed during pregnancy

What to do if you bleed during pregnancy

Many people will become very concerned about their physical condition after they become pregnant, fearing that some problems may occur, especially in the early stages of pregnancy. During this period, the pregnancy is still relatively unstable, so you should take more care of your body. If you find yourself bleeding down there, you should pay more attention to your body and not overwork yourself. You can use some pregnancy-preserving drugs to improve your condition.

The first three months of pregnancy are an unstable period, and the placenta will not function fully until about three months. Therefore, the placental function and ovarian function in the early stage of pregnancy are not yet complete, and the secretion of progesterone is insufficient. Progesterone is the so-called tocolytic hormone. In the case of insufficient tocolytic hormone, the first three months of pregnancy are in an unstable period. In addition, the first three months is an important period for the development of the fetal neural brain pipeline. Expectant mothers must also pay special attention to avoid hindering the development of the fetus's central nervous system. The following four points are the general principles that need to be paid attention to in the early stages of pregnancy:

1. Pay attention to fatigue

It is generally hoped that expectant mothers do not engage in too much activity in the first three months of pregnancy, as it may cause threatened miscarriage. If vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, etc. occur, these are warning signs of threatened miscarriage and you need to seek medical attention as soon as possible. In addition, this situation may be caused by being too tired or doing too much activity, and the expectant mother also needs to rest in bed more.

2. Use of drugs

The first three months of pregnancy are the critical period for the development of the fetus's central nervous system. Therefore, you should be particularly careful when using medications and inform your doctor that you are pregnant when seeing a doctor.

3. Avoid radiation

During the first three months of pregnancy, activities should be limited to the minimum possible effect on the fetal nervous system development. Therefore, if X-rays are necessary, doctors should be asked to prescribe the lowest dose.

When irradiating, remember to cover your stomach with a protective shield.

4. Balanced Diet

During pregnancy, you need to consume a balanced diet of the six major food groups. If the expectant mother has anemia, she can take iron supplements after diagnosis by a doctor. In the first three months of pregnancy, morning sickness is severe due to hormonal changes, and vitamin B6 can be taken to alleviate the symptoms.

1. Lychee and jujube soup: 7 dried lychees and 7 dried jujubes. Add water and decoct, 1 dose per day. It has the effect of nourishing blood and promoting body fluid. Suitable for conditioning women with anemia and physical weakness after miscarriage.

2. Soy milk rice porridge: 2 bowls of soy milk, 50 grams of rice, and appropriate amount of white sugar. Wash the rice, cook it with soy milk to make porridge, and add sugar after it is cooked. Take on an empty stomach every morning. It has the effects of harmonizing the spleen and stomach, clearing away heat and moistening dryness. Suitable for recuperation of physical weakness after abortion.

3. Baby pigeon and wolfberry soup: 1 baby pigeon, 30 grams of wolfberry, a little salt. Remove the hair and internal organs of the pigeon, wash it, put it into a pot, add water and wolfberry and stew it together. Add a little salt when it is cooked. Eat meat and drink soup twice a day. It has the effects of invigorating qi, nourishing blood and regulating deficiency. It is suitable for symptoms such as physical weakness after abortion, qi deficiency after illness, fatigue, spontaneous sweating due to superficial deficiency, etc.

5. Egg and date soup: 2 eggs, 10 red dates, and appropriate amount of brown sugar. Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil, then beat in the eggs and cook them. When the water boils again, add red dates and brown sugar and simmer for 20 minutes. It has the effects of tonifying the middle, replenishing qi and nourishing blood. Suitable for conditioning anemia and deficiency of Qi and blood after illness and childbirth.
