Itchy inner thighs during pregnancy

Itchy inner thighs during pregnancy

Many pregnant women experience inexplicable itching on their bodies during pregnancy, because this feeling is significantly different from the itching caused by skin diseases and insect bites. Therefore, many pregnant women cannot find out what causes the itching in their bodies. Especially when they are pregnant, the inner thighs are prone to itching. So what is going on when a pregnant woman experiences itching on the inner thighs?

First of all, it may have a lot to do with emotional excitement and depression. Because when you are nervous, the hormones in your skin will change, which will also affect the body's endocrine system, causing skin itching. During this period, regulate your emotions appropriately. If the symptoms are improved, no other treatment is needed.

Then you need to consider whether it is related to some bad habits in life, such as frequently using soap when bathing or using products containing hormones, which may irritate the skin. It is also possible that the clothes are not cleaned thoroughly after washing, and the residue of detergent will remain and directly contact the skin, which may also cause skin itching.

Finally, we need to consider whether it is caused by environmental factors. For example, if the climate changes suddenly, the temperature may be very different from before after the season changes, and the skin's immune system may also be affected. When the skin's immunity decreases, it is easy to be infected by some germs, which can cause skin itching and even redness. It is also possible that there are some allergens in the air, such as pollen and mites, which can cause allergic itching when they come into contact with the skin.

Symptoms of early pregnancy

Stopping of menstruation: Due to changes in hormone levels after pregnancy, menstruation will stop, which is the most obvious symptom in early pregnancy.

Abdominal circumference: The abdominal circumference of a pregnant woman will gradually increase with the development of the fetus, that is, the pregnant woman's belly will gradually increase.

Breasts and nipples: Pregnant women may experience tingling, swelling, and itching in the breasts. Starting a few weeks into pregnancy, the breasts swell and veins become obvious. As the mammary glands proliferate, lump-like lumps may appear in the breasts. The nipples and areolas become darker in color, with dark brown nodules around the areolas. The nipples become enlarged, and sometimes a sticky yellowish secretion is produced from the nipples.

Pigmentation: Some pregnant women may show brown pigmentation on the face and midline of the abdomen, or stretch marks on the abdomen during pregnancy, which are more obvious in the later stages of pregnancy. Some pregnant women may develop freckles or acne on their faces and have poor skin condition.
