Will menstruation occur if the uterus is not clean?

Will menstruation occur if the uterus is not clean?

If a girl accidentally gets pregnant, she should have an abortion within three months. Abortion surgery is widely performed, but in many hospitals, problems with the operation may result in incomplete uterine cleaning. The causes of unclean uterine cleaning are not necessarily medical accidents. In order to clean the uterus more thoroughly, we can perform some mild limb exercises to promote excretion. So, will menstruation occur if the uterus is not clean?

1. Uterine cavity residue

If the curettage is not thorough, the residues in the uterine cavity will still be attached to the endometrium, affecting endocrine secretion, causing part of the endometrium to fall off while part of it continues to grow, resulting in unclean menstruation after curettage. In this case, an ultrasound recheck is required. If it is confirmed that the menstruation is not clean due to residues in the uterine cavity, a uterine curettage operation is required, which can completely eliminate the symptoms of continuous menstruation after curettage.

2. Low uterine recovery ability

The low recovery ability of the uterus can also cause the menstruation to be unclean after curettage. This is mainly due to the weak uterine contraction ability. It is generally recommended to take drugs that promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, regulate menstruation and stop bleeding to improve or eliminate symptoms. Common medicines include Gongxuening Capsules, Motherwort Granules, Fuke Qianjin Tablets, Wujibaifeng Pills, Fuke Zhixueling and other medicines. These medicines are relatively mild and have little side effects on the human body, so female friends can take them with confidence.

3. What should I do if the curettage is not clean? After the diagnosis of incomplete curettage, a second curettage should be performed. Curettage can be used to stop bleeding and help diagnose infections, cancer, infertility and other diseases. Normally, once the patient feels well enough (usually the same day), they can resume normal activities. Vaginal bleeding, lower abdominal cramps and back pain may occur after the operation and last for several days. Painkillers can be taken to relieve the pain. Due to trauma to the endometrium after curettage, vaginal bleeding will occur within two weeks after the operation. Generally, the amount of blood is less than or similar to the menstrual amount, which is normal. If the operation is not performed completely, a small amount of fetal tissue will remain in the uterus, which may affect uterine contractions and cause continuous bleeding or cause adhesions, infections, etc. It is best to perform another careful surgery to remove the remaining tissue. Abnormal position or shape of the uterus is generally more likely to cause this sequelae. Therefore, if the curettage is not clean, a second curettage should be performed after confirmation.
