Symptoms of early pregnancy

Symptoms of early pregnancy

When pregnant for half a month, pregnant women will also experience certain symptoms. Of course, menstruation will be interrupted first. At this time, the breasts will gradually show certain symptoms, causing swelling and pain in the breasts. 6 to 12 days after conception, mild vaginal bleeding is likely to occur. Pregnant women will feel tired and sometimes have headaches. Let's take a look at the symptoms of the first half month of pregnancy.

Symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Breast enlargement. Your breasts may become extra tender a week or two after conception. Because your body produces a lot of estrogen and progesterone in early pregnancy, the glands in your breasts begin to grow. These hormones also cause the breasts to retain more fluid, so they may feel heavier and soreer than before, and more sensitive than PMS.

2. Bleeding. Slight vaginal bleeding may occur after the fertilized egg attaches to the uterus 6-12 days after conception. This is harmless, but see your doctor right away if you suspect you are pregnant, as you might suspect your period if the bleeding occurs after 12 days of conception.

3. Fatigue. During the first few weeks of pregnancy, your body is working around the clock to support your pregnancy, and fatigue is your body's response. The progesterone produced after pregnancy will increase your basal body temperature, so you will lack physical energy. Also, your heart rate will increase to provide more oxygen to the uterus, so you will feel tired.

4. Due to the secretion of hormones, your body temperature will rise, so you may easily feel dizzy. It takes a little longer than normal for blood to flow to the brain. Hypoglycemia is also an important cause of dizziness.

5. Some women often experience headaches in the early stages of pregnancy. In addition to the factors of hormone secretion, headaches may also be caused by insufficient water intake and low blood sugar. But as the pregnancy progresses, the headaches will gradually decrease.

Ways to relieve discomfort during early pregnancy

1. Nausea and vomiting: In order to relieve the discomfort caused by vomiting during pregnancy, pregnant women can choose some fresh and easy-to-digest foods, eat more fruits and vegetables, and avoid eating too greasy and irritating foods. Nausea and vomiting in early pregnancy is a normal physiological phenomenon. There is no need to be overly nervous. It usually has little impact on your health and does not require treatment. Just keep a happy mood, stable emotions, and make sure you get enough rest. For most people, these symptoms disappear on their own after 12 weeks of pregnancy. Of course, if the nausea symptoms are particularly severe, you can take vitamin B6 orally. If the metabolism becomes disordered, you need to go to the hospital for treatment.

2. Breast pain: For breast pain symptoms after pregnancy, pregnant women can use breast care methods such as hot compresses and massage to relieve them. It is important to note that the breasts are very fragile during this period, and pregnant women should be gentle during care to avoid damaging the nipples.

3. Back pain: For back pain symptoms in early pregnancy, proper rest, local hot compresses and massage can effectively improve the condition. No special medical treatment is required. If there is severe muscle weakness, numbness or soreness, you must seek medical attention immediately. If you want to improve the symptoms of back pain in early pregnancy, you should get enough rest, do prenatal exercises, and wear low-heeled shoes.
