Causes of menstruation after transplantation

Some families may not be able to get pregnant due to problems with both the man and the woman or one of them. This makes many families who want a baby feel distressed, so some families will choose to use in vitro fertilization through in vitro fertilization, and then transplant the successfully fertilized egg into the woman's belly. After the fertilized egg adapts, it will gradually develop and eventually form a fetus. However, some women still have menstruation after successful transplantation. What is going on?

Long-term mental stress or emotional tension can lead to menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, or amenorrhea. Because menstruation is caused by the stimulation of the endometrium by hormones secreted by the ovaries, and the hormones secreted by the ovaries are controlled by the release of hormones from the pituitary gland and hypothalamus, any abnormality in the function of the ovaries, pituitary gland, or hypothalamus will affect menstruation. Women should pay special attention during menstruation, but many women are exposed to cold stimulation during menstruation, which can cause excessive contraction of blood vessels in the pelvic cavity, resulting in oligomenorrhea or even amenorrhea. Adjust your mindset: Some patients with irregular menstruation are caused by mental frustration or stress, so it is very important to maintain a good mindset.

Causes of heavy menstruation include:

1. Gynecological endocrine dysfunction: Due to the incomplete development of the hypothalamus during adolescence, a stable and regular cyclical regulation and feedback response has not yet been established between the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis, resulting in the development of follicles in the ovaries but no ovulation and no corpus luteum formation. When the amount of estrogen is not enough to maintain the growth of the endometrium or suddenly drops, large pieces of the endometrium fall off, resulting in excessive menstrual bleeding. Infertility occurs due to the failure of the ovaries to release eggs.

2. Uterine fibroids: Fibroids block the opening of the fallopian tubes, preventing sperm and egg from meeting and thus preventing conception.

3. Blood system diseases, such as leukemia, thrombocytopenic purpura, etc., can also cause excessive menstruation and affect pregnancy. Oligomenorrhea refers to a normal menstrual cycle, but each menstrual period is shorter than 2-3 days, the menstrual volume is small, and the menstrual blood is dark purple or pink.
