I have back pain after my period

Adult girls will have menstruation, and menstruation can indeed help our body in all aspects. First of all, it means that the uterus has matured, the vagina has developed normally, and there is normal menstrual blood flow. It also means that women have begun to ovulate. However, some girls will have particularly sore waist after menstruation. Symptoms like this should be considered to be due to pelvic blood accumulation, coupled with poor blood flow in the uterus, which causes pain.

What causes back pain during menstruation?

Severe lower back pain or lower abdominal pain during menstruation is considered dysmenorrhea. Most dysmenorrhea occurs during menstruation. For some people, the pain worsens a few days before menstruation, and everything is normal after menstruation.

It is recommended that you should pay attention to keeping warm. This is very important. On the first day of menstruation, you can apply a hot water bag locally or drink some brown sugar water to relieve pain. You should eat more calcium and magnesium minerals to relieve pain. Experts have found that women who take calcium have less menstrual pain than those who do not take calcium. Magnesium is also very important. It can promote calcium absorption. You cannot eat some foods during menstruation. Do not eat raw, spicy, cold, or irritating foods during menstruation to avoid worsening abdominal pain. You should pay attention to keeping warm during menstruation, especially girls who love beauty. Try not to wear clothes that expose your belly button. You can also do more physical exercise to enhance your immunity.

However, if the pain is very severe and affects your life and work, it is recommended that you go to the gynecology department for relevant examinations in time and receive drug treatment under the doctor's guidance.

1. Supplement potassium and iron. Potassium can ease mood, suppress pain, prevent infection, and reduce menstrual blood loss. Supplement with iron-rich foods, such as fish, various animal livers, egg yolks, etc.

2. Control the amount of exercise. Exercise is not absolutely prohibited during menstruation, but high-intensity and high-volume exercise will cause excessive menstrual bleeding or affect the normal position of the uterus.

3. During menstruation, you should avoid excessive cold or heat stimulation (cold showers and saunas), especially the lower abdomen. Do not get caught in the rain, wade or swim, and do not sit in damp, shady places or near the air ducts of air conditioners or electric fans.

4. Do not beat your back during menstruation. Beating the waist and back at this time will make the pelvic cavity more congested and blood flow faster, leading to excessive menstruation, prolonged menstruation, and more severe back pain.

5. Don’t wear tight pants. Wearing tight underwear during menstruation will make menstrual blood flow out obstructed, and will cause a sudden change in pelvic and abdominal pressure when taking it off, which can easily cause menstrual blood to flow back.

6. X-ray examination cannot be done before menstruation. Women of childbearing age are in the ovulation stage before menstruation. X-ray examination at this time may damage the egg cells or fertilized eggs, causing embryonic maldevelopment, resulting in congenital abnormalities, mental retardation, limb defects, etc.
