1. Tips for treating vulvar itching

1. Take 120 grams of ginger, wash and crush it with the skin, 90 grams of moxa leaves (200-250 grams for fresh ones), add 1500 milliliters of water, boil in a pot for 20 minutes, remove the residue, pour the liquid medicine into a basin, the patient sits on the basin and let the steam fumigate the genitals first, wait until the water temperature is appropriate, wash for 10-15 minutes, 1-2 times a day, and wash for 3 consecutive days to heal. During the treatment period and within half a month after recovery, avoid spicy, fried food, drinking alcohol and sexual intercourse.

3. Take 500 grams of fresh peach leaves. Add water to boil the decoction and use it to fumigate and wash the affected area twice a day, or mash an appropriate amount of peach leaves, wrap them with gauze and insert them into the vagina, change them twice a day, and use them for 1 week.

4. Use 90 grams each of fleabane and sophora flavescens, 45 grams each of phellodendron amurense and rhubarb, 30 grams each of gentian and radix ophiopogonis, and 15 grams of alum. Take one dose daily, decoct in water, remove the residue and take the liquid, and use it to fumigate and wash the vulva. Wash once in the morning, noon and evening, each time for 30 minutes. Continuous use for 5-10 days may show significant effect or cure the disease.

5. Take 15 grams each of Stemona bulbs and Sichuan pepper, 30 grams each of Sophora flavescens, Cnidium monnieri, Pulsatilla scutellaria, and Smilax glabra. Add 3000 ml of water, boil for 5-10 minutes, and remove the residue (the residue is reserved for the second decoction, and one dose of medicine can be used twice). Fumigation first, then washing, for a total of 15-20 minutes. Keep your legs apart when taking a sitz bath. Married women can wrap clean gauze with their index finger, insert it into the vagina, and repeatedly wash out the secretions from the front, back, left and right fornixes. Use for 3-6 consecutive days, 1-2 times a day, changing underwear after each wash.

6. Prepare the raw materials including peppercorns and green onion roots. Wash both of them, put them in a container, add 500 ml of water and bring to a boil. Use the boiled water to cool to a suitable temperature to wash the genitals. Do this twice a day for three consecutive days to see significant results. As a commonly used seasoning, Sichuan pepper has a good inhibitory effect on more than ten kinds of Gram-positive bacteria, including anthrax Bacillus, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus albus, and diphtheria Corynebacterium.

7. Take an appropriate amount of vinegar, dilute it with water, and use it to clean the vulva. It also has a significant therapeutic effect on treating vulvar itching.

2. Three things to do for female vulvar itching

1. Choose cotton underwear

Do not wear tight or ill-fitting underwear, change and wash them frequently, and develop good underwear washing habits.

2. Avoid going to unclean public swimming pools

Trichomonas can be transmitted through public baths, bathtubs, bath towels, swimming pools, toilets, clothing, etc. Especially in the summer, seats in public baths, swimming pools, and borrowed swimsuits that are not properly disinfected may cause infection.

3. Keep the vulva clean

Usually, you should pay attention to keeping the vulva in a clean and dry environment. Do not wash it with hot water or scrub it with soap. Avoid using feminine hygiene sprays or scented or deodorizing soaps; simply washing the vulva with water is a good cleansing solution.
