What is the big hard core in the breast?

Nowadays, the incidence of breast cancer in women is increasing, and many women are worried that they will suffer from this disease. In addition, women's natural love of beauty makes them pay special attention to their breasts. Some women will find a hard core in their breasts when touching them. This may be caused by breast hyperplasia. What causes this hard core? There are mainly the following reasons.

1. Normal breast

If there is only one large hard core in the breast, no other small lumps, and it does not hurt to touch, then this large hard core should be a normal breast, which is located between the superficial and deep layers of the subcutaneous superficial fascia. The superficial fascia extends into the breast tissue to form cord-like lobular septa, one end of which is connected to the pectoralis muscle fascia and the other end is connected to the skin, fixing the mammary gland in the subcutaneous tissue of the chest.

2. Breast nucleus

Breast nodules generally occur in women who are relatively weak or women of childbearing age, and are mostly caused by liver depression, spleen deficiency, and phlegm accumulation. Most lumps occur singly, but there are also multiple lumps that appear on one or both breasts. They are oval in shape, ranging from small ones like cherries to large ones like plums or chicken eggs. They have a smooth surface, a firm texture, and the skin and core are not touching each other. They move when pushed, have clear boundaries, normal skin color, and no ulcers. They may not change for several years.

3. Breast hyperplasia

Breast hyperplasia is a relatively common breast disease. The most obvious symptom of breast hyperplasia is the presence of various large and small lumps in the breast. When you touch the breast with your hand, you can feel nodules of varying sizes, oblate or irregular shapes, and flexible textures. The boundaries are unclear, and there is no adhesion to the skin and deep tissues. The nodules can be pushed.

4. Breast fibroids

Breast fibroadenoma is also a common breast tumor. The lumps of breast fibroadenoma are mostly round or oval, with clear boundaries, smooth surface, no adhesion to the skin and surrounding tissues, large range of motion, and a slippery feeling when touched.

5. PMS

For most female friends, the breast tissue in their breasts will bulge and become more obvious during menstruation or a few days before menstruation. This is what we call the large hard core in the breast.
