Pregnancy midterm spotting is a boy

Pregnancy midterm spotting is a boy

Many women will experience spotting in the second trimester of pregnancy. There are some superstitious beliefs that spotting in the second trimester of pregnancy means the birth of a boy. In fact, this is not the case. Spotting in the second trimester of pregnancy is mostly because women eat foods that cause threatened miscarriage in their daily lives, or they exercise too much and cause the uterus to be hit, thus causing spotting. So, does spotting in the second trimester of pregnancy mean the birth of a boy?

Is it a boy if I see blood in the early stages of pregnancy?

Spotting in early pregnancy is related to the embryo itself:

Vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy is more serious if it is caused by the embryo itself. But it doesn’t mean that we have to worry about everything. However, any slight bleeding should be taken seriously.

1. Spontaneous abortion

Self-diagnosis points

There is a small amount of vaginal bleeding, which may be bright red, pink, or dark brown, depending on the amount of bleeding and how long it has accumulated in the vagina. Sometimes there is mild lower abdominal pain, a feeling of falling during fetal movement, and mild back pain and abdominal distension.

What causes it?

Nurturing a life is a process of survival of the fittest. If the embryo itself has defects, it will be eliminated after developing to a certain extent, and miscarriage usually occurs in about two months. Early miscarriage (before 16 weeks) is almost always caused by a defective fertilized egg, leading to abnormal fetal development, and is often unavoidable. When an embryo dies in the womb, it is often accompanied by vaginal bleeding.

How to deal with it?

You need to go to the hospital for relevant examinations to know whether the baby is miscarried. If there is no miscarriage, appropriate measures to preserve the fetus should be taken. If examination confirms that there has been a miscarriage, the doctor will take timely action to clean out the residues in the uterus.

2. Ectopic pregnancy

Self-diagnosis points

Judging from the amount of bleeding, there is no way to distinguish between ectopic pregnancy and threatened bleeding. If the gestational sac is not ruptured, there will be no pain. Once it ruptures, the pain will be unbearable and there will be heavy bleeding.

What is seeing red

Bloody show is one of the clinical signs. Within 24-48 hours before delivery, the cervix begins to move, causing the fetal membrane near the cervix to separate from the uterine wall. The capillaries rupture and a small amount of blood is discharged through the vagina and mixed with the mucus in the cervical canal and discharged. This bloody mucus that flows out through the vagina is what we commonly call "seeing blood."

"Showing blood" is a reliable sign that delivery is about to begin, so pregnant women should promptly notice this sign when their due date has arrived and they have irregular uterine contractions, especially if they find that their shorts near the vaginal opening feel wet and uncomfortable, they should immediately check whether there is any bloody secretion on their shorts. If so, you should go to the obstetrics and gynecology hospital immediately to prevent any accidents.

Features

1. Brown, pink and red are all possible colors;

2. The amount of bleeding is significantly less than that during menstrual period;

3. It usually occurs 24 hours before the labor pains, but it varies from person to person, and mixed mucus flows out with a thick texture.

Warm reminder: Some conditions can also cause vaginal bleeding. But generally speaking, if the prenatal examination is normal, there are no abnormal conditions at other times, the due date arrives, and there have been irregular uterine contractions, then if bloody mucus is found flowing out of the vagina, these are reliable signs of impending delivery.
