Increased vaginal discharge during ovulation promotion

Increased vaginal discharge during ovulation promotion

Ovulation induction is a measure taken to make women release eggs. This measure is generally taken when doing in vitro fertilization. Since the quality of eggs will greatly affect the health and development of the child in the future, women who are planning to become pregnant must pay attention to their diet and adjust their daily routine during the ovulation induction period. During the period of ovulation promotion, many women experience an increase in leucorrhea. So, is this increase in leucorrhea normal?

1. Is it normal to have more vaginal discharge during ovulation induction?

When women take ovulation-inducing drugs, their bodies will ovulate more, which has nothing to do with leucorrhea. And when taking ovulation-inducing drugs, if leucorrhea becomes abnormal, it should not be caused by the drugs. It may be due to vaginal inflammation caused by infection in the vaginal area. Therefore, if leucorrhea increases during the ovulation-inducing period, you need to go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time to effectively improve this situation. If you do not treat it in time, if the condition is serious, it will have a great impact on pregnancy. Therefore, it is abnormal to have increased leucorrhea during the ovulation-inducing period.

2. Causes of increased leucorrhea

There are many reasons for increased vaginal discharge in women. It may be caused by inflammation in the body, such as vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, genital herpes, cervicitis, gonorrhea, endometritis or pelvic effusion, etc. These diseases will cause increased vaginal discharge; it may also be caused by tumor diseases, such as endometrial cancer, uterine fibroids, vaginal cancer, cervical cancer and other tumor diseases; it may also be caused by the placement of foreign objects in the body, such as the placement of an IUD.

3. Does excessive vaginal discharge mean pregnancy?

Some women may ask, I just had sex not long ago, my period hasn’t come, and my vaginal discharge has increased. Does this mean I’m pregnant? In fact, this is not necessarily the case. Want to know whether you are pregnant, in addition to the increase of leucorrhea, there are also these symptoms:

1. Menstruation has not come. My period is usually regular, but this time it didn't come on time. If the pregnancy is more than a week old, you can use a pregnancy test strip with morning urine to test. A positive test result indicates pregnancy.

2. Easy to feel sleepy. Many pregnant women will feel particularly tired and sleepy during the day in the early stages of pregnancy. This is caused by increased progesterone levels in the body. All you can do at this time is to rest as much as possible.

3. Nausea and vomiting. Many pregnant women experience nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue and loss of appetite around 6 weeks of pregnancy. In fact, this is normal. It will be fine around 12 weeks of pregnancy.

4. In addition to the above symptoms such as amenorrhea, drowsiness, nausea and vomiting, there are other ways to judge whether you are pregnant. Other symptoms include breast sensitivity, enlarged breasts, skin pigmentation, frequent and urgent urination, and constipation.
