The reasons for ovarian torsion caused by ovulation induction are related to the following aspects:

A history of ovulation induction is a common feature of these patients. During the ovulation induction process, most patients have a tendency to overstimulate their ovaries, which makes them prone to ascites, lower abdominal distension, pain, nausea and vomiting, etc. Therefore, the symptoms and signs of ovarian torsion are often atypical.
