What causes ovarian pain during ovulation?

Women have these few days every month, and ovarian pain during ovulation is also a normal physiological manifestation during these days. There is no need to worry, because it lasts for a relatively short time. However, if the pain lasts for a long time, it should be taken seriously. However, during these special times of the month, you should be careful to avoid cold and spicy foods, which can also cause pain, especially for some women with severe dysmenorrhea.

Abdominal pain during ovulation is often in the lower abdomen on one side. The pain is not severe, and is dull, lacking, or heaviness-like. Sometimes it goes unnoticed and does not cause serious harm.

It will last for about half a day to a day and then resolve on its own. This is a signal that the egg is being released from the ovary. Some women experience lower abdominal pain in the middle of each menstrual cycle, which is usually called ovulation pain.

Ovulation abdominal pain is a physiological abdominal pain, which is caused by the rupture of the ovarian follicle when the woman's ovaries ovulate and the stimulation of the peritoneum by the follicular fluid after ovulation. Therefore, the abdominal pain is relatively mild.

Normally, the two ovaries in a woman's body ovulate in turn, once a month, so abdominal pain also occurs cyclically once a month, often with pain alternating between the left and right lower abdomen.

This is normal physiological pain, which is caused by the rupture of the ovarian follicle when the woman's ovaries ovulate and the stimulation of the peritoneum by the follicular fluid after ovulation. Therefore, the abdominal pain is relatively mild.

Calculated based on the ovulation period, abdominal pain after ovulation is mostly a one-time mild pain and does not require treatment, so female friends do not need to worry too much, and remember to eat less cold food. However, if the abdominal pain after ovulation is sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right, it is not ovulation pain. You need to go to the hospital for examination and let an experienced doctor make further diagnosis.

This is also a natural instinct inherited from humans. In order to successfully attract the opposite sex, women during ovulation will become energetic and love to show themselves. Generally speaking, women's sexual desire will be particularly strong during their ovulation period, which is a reflection of the fact that women's body signals that they want to get pregnant have reached their highest level.
