5. Liver and gallbladder diseases. Patients with cholecystitis usually experience a series of symptoms such as chest tightness, abdominal distension, bitter taste in the mouth, and nausea. What to eat when you are hot and damp

People with damp-heat constitution should eat a light diet. They should eat more sweet, cold, or sweet and neutral foods such as red bean, water spinach, amaranth, loofah, gourd, watermelon, etc. They should eat less fatty and greasy foods such as mutton, dog meat, eel, leek, pepper, etc. They should also avoid hot pot, frying, barbecue, and other heat-promoting foods. At the same time, quit smoking and drinking.

Foods that remove heat and dampness

1. Winter melon. It has the effects of clearing away heat and promoting diuresis, reducing swelling and detoxifying, promoting body fluid and relieving restlessness. It is suitable for symptoms such as summer heat and thirst, edema, difficulty urinating, thirst and drinking, and water-induced edema and wheezing.

2. Corn. It has the effects of regulating the stomach, stimulating appetite, reducing turbidity and promoting diuresis.

5. Mung beans. Mung beans have the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, removing dampness and promoting diuresis, relieving heat and thirst. However, the cooking time should not be too long to avoid the destruction of organic acids and vitamins and reduce the effect.
