Do a pelvic floor function test 42 days after delivery

One year after childbirth is the "golden time" for the recovery of pelvic floor muscle function. Pelvic floor muscle exercise can strengthen the pelvic floor muscle strength and improve the "relaxed" condition of the pelvic floor muscle through conscious and rhythmic contraction and relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles. It is recommended that mothers go to the hospital for pelvic floor function screening 42 days after delivery, after the lochia has cleared, so as to detect problems early.

Postpartum testing, assessment of the degree of pelvic floor tissue damage, and timely rehabilitation training are the preferred methods for preventing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction. Routine pelvic floor function examination is usually performed after vaginal bleeding stops 42 days after delivery. The test takes about ten minutes and will not cause pain to the person being tested.
