Case 1

Under normal circumstances, the menstrual cycle of women of childbearing age is 28 days, and the ovulation period is around the 14th day between two menstrual periods. Due to the rupture of the follicle and the fluctuation of estrogen, the growth of the endometrium cannot be maintained, causing local rupture and shedding of the surface layer of the endometrium, resulting in a small amount of breakthrough bleeding. This is the phenomenon of ovulation bleeding. After ovulation, the follicle quickly turns into a corpus luteum, which can secrete a certain amount of estrogen and progesterone, which can quickly repair the ruptured endometrium, and the bleeding will stop automatically. Therefore, the amount of bleeding during ovulation is generally very small, and it will stop automatically after a few hours or days.

If you want to determine whether it is ovulation bleeding, you can measure your basal body temperature. Ovulation bleeding occurs when the body temperature changes from low to high. There is a feeling of discomfort and pain in the lower abdomen, which is caused by serosal or bloody exudation or a small amount of blood accumulation in the pelvic cavity during ovulation. Sometimes it can radiate to the legs, which is the so-called "ovulation pain". It usually lasts for several hours, and in some patients it can last for 2-3 days.

Since most women have less bleeding during ovulation, shorter bleeding time, and not every menstrual cycle, it does not have much impact on the body and generally does not require treatment. For unmarried girls, it will not have a significant impact on their fertility in the future. If the bleeding is as much as normal menstrual flow, or lasts for more than 5 days, you need to go to the hospital for examination to rule out other diseases, such as lesions of the vagina, cervix, endometrium and ovaries.

1. Physiological leucorrhea

Normal leucorrhea is white, paste-like or egg white-like, sticky, has no fishy smell, and is in small amount. It is called physiological leucorrhea. Due to the action of the pelvic floor muscles, the female vaginal opening is closed and the front and back walls are tightly attached. The moisture in the leucorrhea keeps the female vagina moist. This moist environment can reduce the friction between the front and back walls of the vagina and protect the vaginal walls from damage. At the same time, this moist state makes women's vagina lubricated and elastic, which is beneficial to improving the quality of sexual life.

2. Pathological leucorrhea

When there is inflammation of the reproductive tract such as vaginitis and acute cervicitis or cancer occurs, the amount of leucorrhea increases significantly and the properties change, which is called pathological leucorrhea.
