How should women with knee bone spurs be treated?

Bone spurs are a common physical disease in real life. Bone spurs are not only very harmful to physical health, but also easily lead to some bone complications. Women are also prone to bone spurs. Generally, because women often wear high heels, they are prone to bone spurs in the knees. They can be treated with surgery or medication.

Conventional treatment

1. Non-surgical treatment (conservative treatment) includes physical therapy, medication, injection therapy and traditional Chinese medicine treatment. 2. Surgical treatment (1). Arthroscopy-assisted exploration and debridement of the knee This technique is a relatively safe and practical new technology for diagnosing and treating knee joint diseases. It reduces pain and complications for patients, and has the characteristics of rapid recovery and significant efficacy. (2) Knee replacement: Artificial knee replacement is a surgery that replaces part or all of the damaged knee joint with artificial joint parts. The worn and damaged joint surface is removed, and an artificial joint is implanted like a brace to restore the normal and smooth joint surface. Achieve basically normal joint movement.

Seven things to note in life

1. Keep warm and prevent cold. It is best not to get wet in the rain in summer, and wear knee pads when going out in winter.

2. Try to walk on flat ground, climb less or no mountains. If you have to go up or down stairs, it is best to hold the railing with your hands to reduce pressure.

3. Pay attention to your walking and working posture, avoid squatting or standing for long periods of time, and do not drag your legs when walking or working.

4. Wear thick, soft-soled and elastic shoes. Ladies should not wear high heels.

5. Avoid excessive exercise while performing appropriate functional exercises. Swimming and walking are the best exercises; sit-ups, push-ups, and leg stretches are also good.

6. Obese people should lose weight.

7. In terms of diet, you should eat more foods rich in protein, calcium, and collagen, such as: milk, dairy products, black fungus, fish, shrimp, beef tendon, etc.

Four-step treatment

When squatting, stand up straight, with your hands hanging naturally or on your waist, your feet and knees facing forward, and your feet about 10 cm apart. Bend down from the knees into a small squat. You need to squat steadily in a static position for about 10 to 30 minutes. Do this once every morning and evening. This is a comprehensive exercise for the knees, which can effectively improve the knee strength of middle-aged and elderly people, and has a very good therapeutic and rehabilitation effect on knee joint diseases in middle-aged and elderly people. When the elderly are doing static squats, they should lean their backs against the wall or hold on to tables and chairs with both hands to avoid falling.

Stand up straight with your arms hanging naturally, your feet and knees facing forward, and your feet about 10 cm apart. Keep the knee joint straight and still, and tighten the muscles on the front of the thigh (quadriceps femoris). Exert force for 6-10 seconds, rest for 10 seconds, then exert force for 6-10 seconds again, rest for 10 seconds, and do this contraction training 20-30 times. 3-4 times a day. This progressive resistance training can increase muscle strength. Patients tie elastic resistance bands on their ankle joints to resist the force of active knee extension, and gradually increase the resistance to gradually increase the strength of the quadriceps knee extension. When the elderly do the thigh stretch exercise, they should lean their backs against the wall or hold on to tables and chairs with both hands to avoid falling.

By pinching and massaging the meridian points on the legs and feet, you can achieve the purpose of promoting blood circulation and unblocking meridians. There are mainly four acupoints: inner knee point, outer knee point, Weizhong point and Yingu point. The knee eye points are located on both sides of the knee joint. Tighten your lower limbs and touch the bottom of the patella with your hand. You will find two small pits, the outer one is shaped like a calf's nostril and is called the outer knee eye point, and the inner one is called the inner knee eye point. It is recorded in acupuncture books that it can cure knee pain, cold numbness and numbness. Weizhong point is one of the more important acupuncture points for treating osteoarthritis of the knee. Weizhong is the He point of the Taiyang Bladder Meridian, located in the central part of the popliteal fossa on the posterior side of the knee joint. The "Acupuncture and Moxibustion Zisheng Jing" states that it can "dispel cold and dampness, dredge blood vessels and activate collaterals, and strengthen the waist and knees." Therefore, treatment here can disperse the cold and dampness through the bladder meridian. Yin Gu acupoint is the He point of the kidney meridian and is flush with the Weizhong point, located on the inner side of the popliteal fossa. Yin refers to the inner side and Gu refers to the depression. Yin Gu refers to the gathering place of the essence and subtle Qi of the kidney meridian, which is like the granary of the kidney meridian, providing logistical support for the kidney meridian. Pressing and rubbing this point can invigorate the Qi of the kidney meridian and play a role in nourishing the kidneys and bones.

Massage the above 4 acupoints once a day for 5-6 minutes each time. Do not use too much force, just enough to feel a slight soreness.

Soak 30g of ginger, 30g of zelan, 30g of safflower, 30g of achyranthes bidentata, and 20g of trifoliate amniotic fluid in water for 30 minutes, dilute with water to about 40 degrees, put in a basin or bucket, soak both lower limbs, and apply the soup with a towel dipped in it on the knees, 1-2 times a day, each time for about 20 minutes. Ginger can dispel cold; Zedoaria can promote diuresis, reduce swelling and reduce friction within the joints; safflower can promote blood circulation, relieve menstruation and relieve pain, and increase local microcirculation in the knee joint; Achyranthes bidentata and Tripterygium wilfordii can disperse blood stasis and dredge meridians to treat symptoms of soreness, weakness and impotence.
