How to eliminate the midline of pregnancy after delivery?

In the middle and late stages of pregnancy, a woman's belly will be very big. After giving birth, many wrinkles will appear on the belly, the skin of the belly will become very loose, and there will be a very obvious line in the middle of the belly. People call this the linea gestationalis. Seeing their belly become so ugly, many women will have a lot of psychological pressure. In fact, here I want to tell you that these are all very normal physiological phenomena, so don’t worry too much. If you feel that the linea gestationalis affects your appearance, you can find many ways to solve it, including diet, exercise, etc. As long as you stick to the correct approach for a long time, the linea gestationalis will slowly fade or even disappear.

First, how is the midline of pregnancy formed?

Everyone's body structure develops symmetrically on both sides, and the line formed in the middle is the so-called midline. That is to say, regardless of whether you are pregnant or not, a faint white line can be seen on everyone's body. The only difference is the depth of color.

When there is no pigmentation, what you often see on the belly is just a faint white line. Once the hormones change and the pigment cells are stimulated, pigmentation will occur. At this time, darker dark brown lines will appear, which are the so-called pregnancy linea gestationa. The two periods when it most commonly occurs are adolescence and pregnancy when hormones change rapidly.

Second, not everyone has a midline pregnancy

Although the pigmentation of the midline of pregnancy that occurs during pregnancy is caused by hormonal changes, it is not so obvious in every pregnant mother. In fact, the reason why the midline of pregnancy becomes darker has a lot to do with the strength of each person's response to hormones. Generally speaking, yellow people with darker skin are more prone to pigmentation than white people.

In addition, it is also related to skin tension. That is to say, if the belly is suddenly too big, the skin tension will become tight and cause inflammation, which will easily lead to pigmentation and form a dark skin color. The thinner the tissue or the more intense the hormone response, the more pigment will accumulate.

Third, when does the midline of pregnancy disappear?

It usually disappears gradually within a few months to a year after delivery. For some mothers, it disappears after one or two years or does not disappear completely. The time it takes to disappear varies from person to person.

Fourth, how to eliminate the pregnancy line

1. Pay attention to a balanced diet during pregnancy. During pregnancy, you should consume more foods rich in protein, vitamins, fiber and minerals. This will not only ensure your nutritional needs but also avoid the appearance or darkening of the pregnancy line. Avoid consuming foods that are too greasy, too sweet (which can easily lead to obesity) or too salty (which can easily lead to edema and induce pregnancy-induced hypertension).

2. Appropriately control weight gain. Generally, appetite will gradually increase after 3 months of pregnancy, and excessive nutrient intake can easily lead to a rapid weight gain. It will not only affect the development of the fetus and increase the difficulty of delivery, but also make the color of the pregnancy line darker. During prenatal checkups, the obstetrician and gynecologist repeatedly reminded me that weight gain per month should not exceed 2 kg, and weight gain during the entire pregnancy should be controlled between 11 and 14 kg.

3. Do moderate aerobic exercise every day. You can choose to take a walk outdoors, do simple yoga, etc. When I was pregnant, I always felt that I was bloated and couldn't walk, so I just sat or lay down at home every day. Later, the doctor told me that due to lack of exercise and rapid weight gain, the pregnancy line became obvious, especially the fetal heart rate was not normal, and I also suffered from severe constipation.

4. You can take some health products appropriately to promote the growth of dermal fibers, increase skin elasticity, and prevent the appearance of pregnancy lines. Do not take any medicine casually; you must consult a doctor before taking it. If hormone drugs are ingested by mistake, it will not only affect the development of the fetus, but also cause similar stretch marks.
