How to Treat Candida Vulvitis

How to Treat Candida Vulvitis

Candidal vulvitis is a disease unique to women. It also has another alias called candidal vaginitis. It is transmitted through sexual intercourse, etc. Once a woman suffers from Candidal vulvitis, her resistance and immunity will decrease. Therefore, how to treat Candidal vulvitis is a big problem that women want to solve. What are its clinical manifestations? What are the treatments? Let’s find out together.

1. Concept: Candidal vaginitis = Candidal vaginitis, the two are just called differently. Candida is a resident fungus in the female vagina and its surrounding tissues. In the normal human body, many types of Candida can be isolated from the mouth, throat, rectum and vagina, among which Candida albicans ranks first. 46% of adult women (20-45 years old) are asymptomatic carriers. This is mainly because the human vagina's own immunity can balance the number of Candida in the vagina.

2. Infection route:

(1) Autoinfection or endogenous infection, due to low immunity, the massive reproduction of resident flora in the vagina, and the invasion of vaginal infection from the vulva, rectum, cervix, urethra, bladder, etc.

(2) Sexually transmitted infection.

(3) Exogenous infection, in addition to sexual contact, there are also vaginal and domestic infections.

3. Disease-inducing bacteria: Candida albicans is a permanent flora in the vagina. Its reproduction, pathogenicity and disease-causing nature depend on many factors, especially the reduction of one's own resistance and changes in the vaginal environment, which can provide good conditions for the reproduction of Candida albicans. In addition to sexual transmission, pregnancy, contraceptives, antibiotics and other reasons can cause Candida albicans to reproduce and cause disease. Vaginal candidiasis can be treated with vaginal creams and vaginal suppositories. Most topical medications are irritating, and some are even unbearable. They can only be used at night and will stain clothes. Since these topical medications only provide local treatment to the vaginal mucosa, they cannot eradicate deep-seated fungi, which leads to a lower cure rate and higher recurrence rate of vaginitis. The 150mg capsule is used to treat candidal vaginitis. Through systemic absorption, the drug quickly reaches the deep vaginal tissue and eradicates the Candida albicans that causes the disease. The symptoms will be alleviated on the same day and will be noticeably relieved the next day.

One 150mg capsule is enough to cure the disease. Although Diflucan only needs to be taken once, its medicinal properties last for many days, which is much more convenient than using vaginal suppositories every night for 7 days with the same therapeutic effect. One-pill oral therapy is very suitable for modern working women and is not affected by meals or food, which is very convenient.

Clinical experience from more than 9 million people shows that a single oral dose of 150 mg is effective.

Women are very fond of new oral drugs that can cure the disease once and for all, and are unwilling to use the previous vaginal treatment drugs.

As for the question of how to treat candidal vulvitis, it is actually not a difficult question. As a woman, you should wash your underwear frequently every day and pay attention to personal hygiene. At the same time, you can take some medicines orally during the candidal vulvitis. If the illness lasts for a long time and there is no improvement, you should go to a regular hospital for examination and receive treatment according to the doctor's advice.
