Treat irregular menstruation with these tips

Irregular menstruation is a problem that troubles many women. It is not only very uncomfortable, but also indicates that the body is not healthy enough, so it is particularly important to find an effective conditioning method. Paying attention to diet, maintaining good living habits, Western medicine treatments and traditional Chinese medicine treatments are all good treatments. As long as you can persist for a long time, you can treat irregular menstruation.

1. Pay attention to your diet

Patients with irregular menstruation can improve their condition with diet therapy. By eating more foods high in iron, they can replenish the body's lack of nutrients in a timely manner and effectively improve their physical condition. Three meals a day need to be properly matched, and more iron should be supplemented to avoid iron deficiency anemia. You should also eat more dishes that have stress-relieving effects, such as cabbage, shrimp, chocolate, corn, tomatoes, etc. The following are two recipes that can help treat irregular menstruation for your reference.

2. Maintain good living habits

Women who often have irregular menstruation should also maintain good living habits, try to avoid overwork and staying up late, etc. Women should pay special attention to keeping warm during menstruation to avoid catching cold and causing pelvic blood vessels to contract, leading to reduced menstrual volume and amenorrhea. Maintaining a good attitude is also the key to treating and preventing menstrual disorders. Women should pay enough attention to it to avoid worsening of the condition and making it more difficult to cure.

3. Western medicine treatment methods

For menstrual disorders diagnosed as being caused by neuroendocrine dysfunction, different treatment plans should be adopted according to the severity of the disease and the specific circumstances of the patient. The main problems that menstrual disorders bring to patients are as follows, and treatment should also start from solving these problems of patients:

(1) Bleeding and anemia: caused by long menstrual periods and heavy menstrual flow. In addition to general hemostatic measures, hormones or curettage may be used to stop bleeding as appropriate.

(2) Cyclic disorders: Estrogen and progesterone alone or in combination can be used for cyclical treatment, or traditional Chinese medicine can be used for treatment.

(3) Infertility: Dysfunction of one or more links in the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis causes anovulation, which is one of the pathophysiological bases of menstrual disorders and one of the causes of infertility. It is a problem that many patients urgently need to solve. Some patients may ovulate but have insufficient luteal function, which can also cause infertility. Different ovulation-inducing drugs are selected according to the patient's condition to improve ovarian function or replace part of the function of the pituitary gland and hypothalamus.
