What's the matter with seeing red?

The spotting mentioned here is also called pregnant woman spotting. This is a reliable phenomenon that a pregnant woman is about to give birth. The main reason for pregnant woman spotting is that the uterus will expand in the late stage of pregnancy, which will cause capillary bleeding. This will cause a small amount of vaginal bleeding, which is a sign of impending labor. Pregnant women and their families should be prepared, as delivery usually occurs within one to two days.

What is "seeing blood" during pregnancy? In fact, "seeing blood" means a small amount of vaginal bleeding, which depends on when you have the bleeding during your pregnancy. If it is at full term, the uterine blood vessels may shorten or dilate a little, which may cause some vaginal bleeding, which means that delivery may be imminent.

Brown, pink, and red are all possible colors of "spotting". The amount of bleeding is significantly less than that during the menstrual period. It usually occurs 24 hours before contractions, but varies from person to person. It is usually mixed with mucus and has a thick texture.

If there is only a small amount of blood, the expectant mother can stay at home to observe, and just be careful not to overwork and avoid strenuous exercise. If you experience fresh bleeding, more than your normal menstrual bleeding, or if you have abdominal pain, you should be hospitalized immediately.

However, expectant mothers should pay special attention to vaginal bleeding before the full term. If there is vaginal bleeding at 28, 29 weeks or more than 30 weeks, you must go to the hospital for examination. Bleeding may indicate premature birth. Some people have some lesions in the cervix, and some people have abnormalities inside the placenta. The placenta is close to the cervix, which we call placenta previa. If any of the above situations occur, it is best to go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

If there is only a light streak of blood and the amount is not large, the pregnant woman can stay at home to observe and pay attention not to overwork and avoid strenuous exercise. If you experience fresh bleeding, the amount of bleeding exceeds that during your menstrual period, or you experience abdominal pain, you should be hospitalized immediately.
