How to conceive with a retroverted uterus? What are some good methods?

We all know that conception is the result of the combination of sperm and egg to produce a fertilized egg, but I believe most people don’t pay attention to the process of fertilization. The human body is amazing. Thousands of sperm will enter the fallopian tubes from the vagina. During this process, some sperm only need a few minutes or tens of minutes, but generally it takes more than an hour. The survival period of these sperm is only 3 days. If they do not combine with the egg within 3 days, they will die. The one that combines with the egg is the fertilized egg. The fertilized egg develops and moves into the uterus at the same time. Only when it reaches the uterus can it survive. So many people say that it is more difficult to conceive with a retroverted uterus. This is the reason. So how can you conceive with a retroverted uterus?

The couple who were trying to have a baby had no success. When they went to the hospital for a check-up, they were told that the wife had a "retroverted uterus" and it would be difficult for her to conceive. This is because the posterior position of the uterus is not conducive to the semen entering the cervix, which reduces the chance of sperm meeting the egg. So, how to conceive with a retroverted uterus?

1. Raise the buttocks after sexual intercourse: Place a pillow under the woman's buttocks during or after sexual intercourse, so that the woman is in a position with her head low and her buttocks high. This allows the semen to accumulate in the posterior fornix, soaking the cervix in the semen pool, which is beneficial to conception.

2. Lie prone after sexual intercourse or kneel from behind during sexual intercourse: the semen will accumulate in the anterior vault of the vagina, making it easy for the upturned cervix to be soaked in semen.

3. Shortening of the round ligament of the uterus or uterine suspension: The effect of this type of surgery is uncertain and the disease may recur after a few years. Currently, this method is not recommended.

4. Pessary correction method: Some women can first use manual manipulation to reduce the uterus to anterior position, and then place a pessary for a short period of time, which can play a temporary corrective role.
