Too little amniotic fluid can have an adverse effect on the health of the fetus, so what are the symptoms of too little amniotic fluid? Some of the symptoms of too little amniotic fluid are not particularly typical, so prenatal examinations are very important at this time. Sometimes too little amniotic fluid will manifest as abdominal pain in pregnant women, which will lead to reduced fetal movements and irritating contractions of the uterus. Too little amniotic fluid must be treated in time. Most of the symptoms of oligohydramnios are atypical, but they also have the following characteristics. 1. When the fetus moves, the pregnant woman will feel obvious abdominal pain; the placental function is reduced, and the fetal movement often decreases. 2. The uterus is sensitive and even slight stimulation can easily trigger uterine contractions. 3. During prenatal check-ups, it can be found that the uterine height and abdominal circumference of the pregnant woman are smaller than the gestational month, and the fetal movement is more obviously restricted, so there is a feeling that the uterus is tightly wrapping the fetus. 4. The labor pains are obvious and the uterine contractions are mostly uncoordinated. During vaginal examination, it will be found that the anterior amniotic sac is not obvious, the fetal membranes are close to the fetal presenting part, and very little amniotic fluid flows out during artificial rupture of the membranes. If a pregnant woman has too little amniotic fluid, her doctor will monitor the fetus closely to make sure it continues to develop normally. As for how the doctor will deal with it specifically, it depends on the gestational age of the pregnant woman, the health of the fetus, and whether the pregnant woman has other complications. If oligohydramnios is found in the second trimester, it is often accompanied by fetal malformation and requires detailed examination (such as umbilical cord blood or amniotic fluid chromosome examination to rule out chromosomal abnormalities). After ruling out the possibility of fetal malformation, the fetus's condition in the uterus and changes in the amount of amniotic fluid can be closely observed. If oligohydramnios is caused by insufficient maternal blood volume or hypoxia, drinking plenty of water, intravenous infusion and oxygen inhalation can indeed play a certain role. For mothers with hypercoagulation function, low molecular weight heparin can be injected subcutaneously or low molecular weight dextran can be infused intravenously to make the blood less easy to coagulate, improve the blood circulation in the placenta, and facilitate the formation of amniotic fluid. If necessary, amniotic infusion therapy can also be used, that is, under the guidance of B-ultrasound, a puncture needle is used to inject an appropriate amount of normal saline into the amniotic cavity through the abdomen to improve the condition of oligohydramnios. This method is now recognized and adopted by more and more people, especially for some pregnant women who have unexplained oligohydramnios in the early stages and whose fetuses are immature. Amniotic fluid infusion can improve the effects of oligohydramnios on the fetus in a short period of time and maintain the normal development of the fetus. |
