How to treat vulvar dystrophy

How to treat vulvar dystrophy

Vulvar malnutrition refers to the appearance of diffuse white patches on the skin of the female genitals. If not treated promptly, it will spread to the perineum and anus, and even invade the urethral opening, causing the skin in this part to become abnormally rough, often with itching and pain, and even causing ulcers. There are many treatments for vulvar malnutrition, the more common ones include traditional Chinese medicine treatment, minimally invasive surgery, surgical treatment, etc.

1. Drug treatment: After cleaning the vulva with Ph4 Jiaoyan weak acid formula female care liquid, apply hormone drugs locally, locally inject anaerobic bacteria, and use traditional Chinese medicine treatment.

2. Physical therapy: microwave therapy, carbon dioxide laser and helium-neon laser, Bohm light, high-frequency electric knife, local electrocautery therapy and liquid nitrogen local cryotherapy, etc.

3. Surgical treatment: simple vulvectomy, vulvectomy combined with skin grafting.

4. Minimally invasive treatment: The minimally invasive treatment using the Orlock ultrasound focusing system has no side effects and is non-traumatic, changing the defects of traditional surgery such as large damage, great pain, heavy bleeding and slow recovery.

5. Treatment with Traditional Chinese Medicine: Vulvar white lesions, also known as chronic vulvar dystrophy, refers to a group of diseases caused by nutritional disorders of the vulvar skin and mucous membranes, leading to tissue degeneration and pigment changes. The formation of this disease is mostly related to the neurovascular nutrition disorder in the deep connective tissue of the vulva, which leads to pathological changes in the overlying skin.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, this is caused by qi deficiency, while Western medicine believes that it is related to weakness of the pubococcygeus muscles at the bottom of the perineum. Because the vulva shrinks and the vaginal opening is not closed tightly, gas can easily flow in. Pubococcygeus muscle exercises can help overcome this problem. This symptom occurs after childbirth, when the vagina has not yet recovered from dilation. The pubococcygeus muscles around the vagina become thinner and weaker and cannot close the vagina tightly, making it easy for gas to flow into or remain in the vagina. The gas is only expelled when the abdomen is contracted forcefully. If the patient can persist in exercising the pubococcygeus muscle every day, the effect will definitely be seen after a few months.
