What are the advantages and disadvantages of having an IUD

Female friends can learn more about the pros and cons of IUD insertion. IUD insertion is a better contraceptive method that allows couples to enjoy sex more intimately, but some women are prone to bleeding and pain after insertion, or are at risk of ectopic pregnancy.

1. Discomfort

The discomfort includes psychological and physiological ones. Just imagine if a ring is placed on your body, it will definitely make you uncomfortable. Adding something that is not part of the body to the body will cause some discomfort both physically and psychologically.

2. Bleeding in a short period of time

Women may experience a small amount of bleeding for a short period of time after having an IUD inserted. This phenomenon is mainly caused by the fact that the placement of the contraceptive ring may scratch the endometrium, thereby causing bleeding. However, this situation can be repaired quickly. The bleeding usually lasts for several days, and the amount of blood does not exceed the menstrual volume, so no treatment is required.

3. Cause ectopic pregnancy

The purpose of IUD insertion is to prevent pregnancy and childbirth, but the contraceptive effect of IUD insertion can only prevent normal pregnancy in the uterus, but it has no effect on preventing ectopic pregnancy and cannot avoid it. If the embryo implants in the fallopian tube and does not reach the uterus, it will cause an ectopic pregnancy.

4. Pain

Putting a ring on your body will definitely cause pain. After having an IUD inserted, women may experience pain in the lower abdomen or lower back.

5. Psychological shadow

If something that does not belong to your body is added to your body, some female friends who do not have a strong psychological quality may suffer from psychological trauma and stress.

6. The trouble of regular inspection

The so-called rings are generally made of T copper rings, matrix music, copper-containing palace rings and other materials. Different materials have a fixed service life, which means they need to be checked or replaced in the hospital after the expiration of the service life.
