How to check the cleanliness of leucorrhea

Vaginal secretions are added with normal saline to make a smear, which is then examined under a high-power microscope. The cleanliness is mainly determined by the number of white blood cells, epithelial cells, vaginal bacilli and miscellaneous bacteria.

Tips: Ⅰ~Ⅱ are normal. III to IV are abnormal and may be vaginitis. Pathogens, fungi, vaginal Trichomonas, etc. can often be found at the same time. When checking the cleanliness, Trichomonas and fungi should be checked at the same time. Fungal and Trichomonas After the leucorrhea is processed, the presence of Trichomonas or fungi can be detected based on its morphology under a microscope. If Trichomonas or fungi are present, regardless of the number, they will be indicated by a "+". The "+" symbol only means that the woman is infected with Trichomonas or fungi, and does not indicate the severity of the infection.
