A lump on the vulva cannot be ignored, because many times it is caused by some reproductive diseases of the private parts, such as trichomoniasis, folliculitis, vulvitis, etc. These may be the causes, so we must correctly understand and effectively treat these diseases.

1. Vaginal trichomoniasis: itching of the vulva and vagina, ink-like leucorrhea, often accompanied by a special odor, and eczematous changes in the vulva after scratching.

2. Judging from the symptoms of a lump growing on the vulva, multiple causes can be considered: folliculitis, cyst, vulvitis, etc. The symptoms of acute nonspecific vulvitis are: the patient first feels discomfort in the vulva, followed by itching and pain, or a burning sensation. At the same time, the skin and mucous membranes in the vulva may have varying degrees of swelling and congestion. In severe cases, erosions, ulcers, or large areas of eczema may form. It is accompanied by pain during urination and sexual intercourse.

3. Viral infection: Genital vaginal discharge mostly occurs in the female vaginal wall, cervical opening and vulva, and also appears as leucorrhea with a foul odor.

4. Fungal vaginitis : vulva, vulvar itching, vulvar flushing, accompanied by bean curd-like leucorrhea with odor. Scratching can cause eczematous changes of vulvar dermatitis.

In addition, when folliculitis occurs in the vulva, the vulva may become severely swollen and painful due to the occurrence of abscesses, and then a furuncle may form. The diagnosis of nonspecific vulvitis is generally not difficult, but it is also important to distinguish it from other lesions of the vulva, such as white lesions of the vulva.
