Senile endometritis presents with thickening and hardening of the blood vessel walls, sometimes with calcification. When the lesion is severe, local ulcers may form.

3. Laboratory examination: Bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test of blood and uterine secretions can be performed.

4. Diagnostic curettage: can clarify the cause of the disease and rule out malignant lesions. Inflammation should be controlled for three days before surgery, and anti-inflammatory treatment should continue after surgery. Endometritis after abortion may leave residual embryonic tissue, which should be carefully and thoroughly scraped for examination.

5. B-ultrasound examination: to make a preliminary diagnosis of the intrauterine status. The examination results can be combined with clinical symptoms and test results to diagnose whether endometritis is present.
