Hiccups are a very common physiological phenomenon, but sometimes they can be very uncomfortable, especially when you have stomach pain or bloating, hiccups will undoubtedly make the situation worse. So what are some ways to relieve stomach pain, bloating and hiccups?

1. Boil burdock water

In addition to clearing away heat, detoxifying and removing dampness, burdock can also aid digestion and relieve bloating. Buy a fresh burdock, slice it and boil it in water. After boiling, let it cool down and then take it.

2. Choose easily digestible foods

1: Eat more vegetables, drink more water, avoid greasy, raw, cold, spicy and irritating food, and drink less carbonated drinks; after consuming high-fat food that is difficult to digest, moderately supplementing with high-fiber food such as vegetables can shorten the time that high-fat food stays in the stomach. Glutinous rice (rice cake, glutinous rice balls, Yuanxiao, rice dumplings), fried beans, hard pancakes, leftover rice, etc., as well as high-protein, high-fat foods such as barbecue and desserts are not easy to digest, and they stay in the gastrointestinal tract for a long time and produce more gas. Foods that aid digestion: orange peel, hawthorn, tomato, yogurt, pineapple, papaya, etc.

3. Sour plum soup

1: Sour plum soup is both appetizing and helpful for digestion. It is perfect to have before, during, or after meals. Note: Sour plum essence is useless. It must be made from a proper brew of black plums, tangerine peel, hawthorn, licorice, Ophiopogon japonicus, etc.

4. Appropriately reduce the amount of gas-producing foods

Foods that produce more gas are mainly beans and starchy foods, such as sweet potatoes, soybeans, potatoes, taro, radish, pumpkin and chestnut, etc., and commonly eaten staple foods such as wheat and rice are also gas-producing foods and should be avoided in excess; vegetables such as white radish, onion, leek, raw onion, raw garlic, celery, cabbage, cabbage, cauliflower, etc.; fruits such as apples, grapes, bananas, melons (such as watermelon and cantaloupe), grapefruit, etc.

You can also take lactobacillus tablets under the guidance of a doctor to aid digestion. In addition, you can temporarily reduce food intake to allow gastrointestinal function to rest and recover.
