How to treat bacterial vaginosis?

Nowadays, many women are busy with family and work and often do not pay enough attention to their personal hygiene. Vaginitis is one of the common gynecological diseases, which often torments many patients. Moreover, if it is not treated in time, it will have a great impact on the relationship between the couple. As we all know, the same disease can be classified differently. Bacterial vaginitis is one of them. So, how to treat bacterial vaginitis?

1. Indirect contact infection

Contact with toilets, bathtubs, bath seats, towels in public toilets that are contaminated with bacteria, and using unclean toilet paper can cause infection.

2. Sexual transmission

It is one of the causes of the disease. At least 10% of men with symptoms on the female side have bacterial urethritis.

3. Taking large amounts of antibiotics changes the vaginal microenvironment, causing pathogenic bacterial pathogens to multiply and lead to localized bacterial vaginitis.

4. Excessive attention to hygiene. In order to maintain hygiene, some women often use medicated washes to irrigate the vagina, which can easily destroy the acid and alkaline environment of the vagina and make it easy to get infected with bacterial vaginitis.

1. General treatment: Keep the vulva clean and dry and avoid scratching. Do not eat spicy foods. Change your underwear frequently and wash it with warm water. Do not mix it with other clothes to avoid cross infection.

2. Drug treatment (1) Metronidazole is currently considered to have reliable efficacy, taken twice a day for 7 consecutive days.

(2) Methicillin (clomiphene) is used for 3 days.

(3) Thiamphenicol (Thiamycin) is effective against a variety of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, and has a good therapeutic effect on the growth of anaerobic bacteria, so it can also be used.

(4) Cleansing and ampicillin can also be used. In recent years, it has been advocated that no treatment is needed for asymptomatic people.

3. Local therapy can use topical medications, such as metronidazole suppositories, once a night for 7 consecutive days.

To sum up, everyone knows how to treat bacterial vaginitis. I hope this will be helpful for some female patients. They should pay attention to personal hygiene at ordinary times, so as not to easily cause inflammation. Some diets should be light, which can also play a great role in treating diseases.
