Because people usually only give birth to one child or twins at birth, they do not need a large number of breasts, so there is only a pair of mammary gland rudiments in the chest that continue to develop and nipple buds are formed. During the third month, the embryo forms mammary ducts. The remainder of the mammary primordium generally regresses by the ninth week of embryogenesis. If the breasts are not completely degraded, then extra breasts will form after birth, which is medically known as accessory breasts or breast disease.

The influence of accessory breasts on our body is not small. If female friends grow accessory breasts, there is a certain possibility that they will evolve into a small number, and the growth of accessory breasts is affected by sex hormones.
