After birth, babies will go through a breastfeeding stage. During this stage, because babies have limited ability to adapt to the outside world and their gastrointestinal systems are not fully developed, breast milk is the only source of nutrition for them. During breastfeeding, some new mothers will find some problems. The most common problem is breast pain during breastfeeding. Some mothers also have pain on one side of the breast during breastfeeding. Generally, there are two explanations. One is that the baby sucks the nipple excessively, and the other is that the woman suffers from some breast gynecological diseases. Let's take a look at it below. Generally speaking, if there is sudden, persistent, severe pain in the breast accompanied by obvious tenderness, it is considered to be various acute infectious diseases of the breast; if there is local pulsating pain, it may be local suppuration. If breast pain is paroxysmal, and often begins before menstruation or worsens before menstruation, and is relieved or disappears after menstruation, and the pain is distending or stabbing, and sometimes involves the armpit or shoulder and back on the same side, and there is mild to moderate tenderness locally, then it is considered to be a proliferative lesion. If the nipple is severely painful during breastfeeding, or the nipple is broken or cracked, it may be caused by the baby sucking and biting the nipple, resulting in nipple fissures. If the breast pain is only mild, dull or aching, with no obvious regularity, and is only occasional or paroxysmal, and sometimes continuous, it is often ignored because the pain is not obvious. It should be noted that such breast pain may also be a signal of early breast malignant disease, and should be given sufficient attention. Sometimes, there is no obvious pain in the breast, but only pain in one armpit or shoulder and back. There is also the possibility of malignant lesions. These subtle changes should not be easily ignored. If there is severe, persistent, burning pain in the breast, which is progressively aggravated and difficult to relieve on its own, and accompanied by local ulceration and necrosis of the mass or ulceration of the surgical wound and surrounding skin, it is breast pain in the late stage of malignant lesions. At this time, because the symptoms and signs of other malignant lesions are very clear, it is not difficult to find the cause of the pain. In addition, some women also experience breast pain when their breasts swell. This is a physiological condition and should be distinguished from breast pain caused by disease. From the above, we can know that breast pain during breastfeeding is caused by many reasons. If it is because the baby sucks too hard, you can first extract breast milk and then breastfeed with a bottle. If it is caused by certain gynecological diseases, you need to go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible. In addition, you can stop breastfeeding to prevent unknown adverse effects on the baby. From this we can see that female friends should pay more attention to their bodies. |
