Women all know that common gynecological diseases are different in type, but the symptoms are very similar. For example, cervical erosion, vaginitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease, the most common symptoms of these three diseases are increased leucorrhea, yellow leucorrhea, and even severe odor. However, the treatments for these three diseases are different, and the causes are also similar in many places. So what are the differences between these three diseases? For vaginitis, the vagina should be washed and dried, and then medication should be applied inside the vagina. In addition, some related physical therapy can be combined with the treatment, which will have significant effects. Preventive measures: Use antibiotics reasonably, do not wear tight fiber underwear, and avoid irritation. Used underwear, basins and towels should be washed with boiling water to avoid serious infection. After the treatment course, the leucorrhea should be checked before menstruation, once a day. If it is negative for 3 consecutive times, it is considered to be cured in the near future. Check the leucorrhea before the menstrual period every month thereafter for 3 months, and if the result is negative continuously, it means the patient is cured. Pelvic inflammatory disease can be effectively treated with both medication and physical therapy. Shortwave, ultrashort wave, and drug ion introduction can be used as the treatment options. You can also use fried salt to apply hot compress to the lower abdomen to promote the absorption and disappearance of inflammation and speed up recovery. Cervical erosion is divided into 3 degrees: mild, moderate, and severe. Mild cervical erosion does not have any symptoms and can be left untreated. If bleeding during sexual intercourse occurs, active treatment should be given. Physical therapy is advisable. The principle is to use various physical methods to promote the necrosis of the single-layer columnar epithelium on the erosion surface, which will be covered by new stratified squamous epithelium after shedding, and the wound will heal and the cervix will become smooth. Commonly used methods include: autocoagulation knife therapy, LEEP knife therapy, and HIFU knife therapy. The HIFU therapy is very effective. The treatment does not affect fertility. Symptoms of acute pelvic inflammatory disease include abdominal pain, fever, chills, headache, and loss of appetite. During the examination, the patient was found to be in an acute condition with a high temperature, a rapid heart rate, and muscle tension, tenderness, and rebound pain in the lower abdomen. Pelvic examination: There is a large amount of purulent secretions in the vagina, obvious tenderness in the vault, tenderness and rebound pain in the uterus and bilateral adnexa, or thickening of one side of the adnexa. The symptoms of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease are: slow onset and long course. Systemic symptoms are mostly not obvious, but may include low fever, fatigue, lower abdominal pain, etc. During examination, it is found that the uterus is often posterior, with limited movement, or adhesions and fixation. Suggestions: Acute cervicitis causes purulent leucorrhea, accompanied by pain in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region, or bladder irritation symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. In chronic cervicitis, the leucorrhea is milky white and mucous, or light yellow and purulent; in severe cervical erosion or cervical polyps, the leucorrhea may be bloody or there may be bleeding after sexual intercourse. In mild cases, there may be no systemic symptoms. When the inflammation spreads along the uterosacral ligament to the pelvic cavity, there may be pain in the lumbar region, a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, and dysmenorrhea, which worsens during bowel movements and sexual intercourse. In addition, sticky and purulent leucorrhea is not conducive to the passage of sperm and can also cause infertility. Pelvic inflammation is an inflammation of the uterine appendages, and cervical erosion is an inflammation of the cervix, but retrograde infection of cervical erosion can cause pelvic inflammatory disease. If pelvic inflammatory disease persists for a long time or becomes severe, it can cause fallopian tube diseases, such as obstruction of the fallopian tubes, blockage of the fallopian tubes, etc., resulting in ectopic pregnancy or infertility. The inflammatory cells secreted by the wound surface of cervical erosion will kill some sperm. Therefore, it is best to seek early treatment and get pregnant after recovery. These three diseases need to be distinguished. Among these three diseases, cervical erosion is the most serious because this disease is likely to become cancerous. We all know that cancer is the most terrifying disease in the world and it is also a disease with very poor treatment effects. Therefore, if you encounter these gynecological diseases, you must check them clearly and treat them accordingly. Also remember to take care of your local hygiene. |
