How to treat moderate cervical erosion?

There are many reasons that may cause different degrees of cervical erosion in female friends. Regular follow-up checks are required to check for cervical stenosis and other deficiencies.

Drug treatment: Azithromycin, metronidazole tablets, Kangfuyan capsules, and compound hibiscus effervescent tablets can be taken. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during treatment, and follow-up examination should be conducted after one month.

It is suitable for patients with small erosion surface, shallow inflammatory infiltration or limited conditions. Use 25% silver nitrate, chromic acid and other local corrosion agents. The vagina should be irrigated before medication, and then wiped dry with dry cotton balls, and the normal vaginal mucosa should be protected with cotton balls. The drug can also be applied topically with Aibao (preferably by a doctor) or applied as a vaginal suppository by yourself. Drug treatment is mainly suitable for non-pregnant patients with mild to moderate cervical erosion. Many Chinese medicine powders also have certain therapeutic effects, but they are prohibited from use during menstruation and pregnancy.

Other treatments: Physical therapy is mainly suitable for patients with larger erosion area and deeper inflammatory infiltration. Commonly used methods include laser therapy, cryotherapy, microwave therapy and electrocautery.

Mild cervical erosion can actually be effectively treated through vaginal medication, and it can usually be cured after a few courses of treatment. When cervical erosion develops to moderate or severe levels, it is best to treat it through some physical or surgical methods to minimize the damage to the female body.
