What is Double Ovarian Syndrome?

For female friends, especially some middle-aged and elderly women, the body's immunity declines, coupled with some carelessness in daily life, many people will be infected with some gynecological diseases, which are still difficult to treat and are very easy to recur. Polyovarian syndrome is also a disease, and female friends often have attacks, but what is this disease? And how should it be treated!

It refers to multiple small cysts in the ovaries, which are often clinically accompanied by endocrine disorders such as ovulation. The clinical changes of polycystic ovary are extremely complex. In addition to the polycystic enlargement of bilateral ovaries and polycystic changes, it is often accompanied by menstrual disorders, infertility, hirsutism, obesity and other phenomena. After bilateral wedge-shaped ovarian resection, menstruation and ovulation can be restored, and pregnancy is possible. This is called polycystic ovary syndrome.

The treatment principle of benign ovarian tumors is surgery. The scope of surgery can be selected according to the patient's age, fertility requirements and tumor condition: tumor resection, unilateral oophorectomy or bilateral adnexectomy, etc. Malignant ovarian tumors are treated mainly with surgery, supplemented by chemotherapy or radiotherapy. In principle, the scope of surgery should include total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.

Patients at stage Ic and above should undergo omentectomy at the same time, and patients at stage Ic-III should undergo radical surgery, including removal of the entire uterus, bilateral adnexa, omentum, appendix, retroperitoneum, para-aortic and pelvic lymph nodes. Try to remove metastatic tumors and other affected organs. Ovarian cancer is relatively sensitive to chemotherapy and can be used before, during, or after surgery as appropriate. Radiation therapy is often used as adjuvant therapy after surgery. Immunotherapy is used as one of the auxiliary treatments. The treatment and monitoring of malignant ovarian tumors are very important, and re-exploration is an important means.

Patients with polyovary syndrome, if they have begun to doubt whether they have these symptoms, can first compare the above symptoms and make some basic judgments. It is best to go to the hospital for a detailed examination in time. After confirming the condition, it is better to seek treatment as soon as possible, otherwise it is likely to become more and more serious and difficult to cure.
