Dietary treatment methods for gastric ulcer during pregnancy

"When we are together, we get to know each other, and even if we eat all day long, we will never doubt each other." Nowadays, people are damaged by bad living habits, life pressure, unhealthy diet and other factors, and various stomach diseases erode people's health. Especially women's love of spicy food is the direct source of stomach problems. Female friends should pay attention, especially pregnant female friends. Well, today we will talk about gastric ulcer, a type of stomach disease, and the dietary treatment that you should pay attention to if you suffer from gastric ulcer during pregnancy.

1. To enhance nutrition, you should choose foods that are easily digestible, contain sufficient calories, and are rich in protein and vitamins. Such as porridge, thin noodles, milk, soft rice, soy milk, eggs, lean meat, tofu and soy products; foods rich in vitamins A, B, C, such as fresh vegetables and fruits. These foods can enhance the body's resistance, help repair damaged tissues and promote ulcer healing. Patients with excessive pantothenic acid should use less milk. Limit the intake of high-residue foods and avoid eating fried foods, as well as celery, leeks, bean sprouts, ham, bacon, dried fish and various coarse grains that contain more crude fiber. These foods are not only rough and difficult to digest, but also cause a large amount of gastric juice secretion, increasing the burden on the stomach. However, easily digestible foods such as processed vegetable purees can be eaten

2. Do not eat irritating foods. Do not eat foods that stimulate gastric acid secretion, such as broth, raw onions, raw garlic, concentrated fruit juice, coffee, wine, strong tea, etc., as well as foods that are too sweet, too sour, too salty, too hot, raw, cold, and hard. Sweets can increase gastric acid secretion, stimulate the ulcer surface and aggravate the condition; overheated foods can stimulate the ulcer surface, causing pain, and even dilate the blood vessels on the ulcer surface and cause bleeding; spicy foods can stimulate the ulcer surface and increase gastric acid secretion; overcold and hard foods are difficult to digest and can aggravate the condition. In addition, ulcer patients should also quit smoking. Nicotine in tobacco can change the acidity and alkalinity of gastric juice, disrupt the normal activity of the gastric pylorus, and induce or aggravate ulcer disease.

3. Develop a reasonable diet system. Eat at regular times and in fixed quantities, chew slowly, talk less, do not read books or newspapers, and do not watch TV; keep your mind relaxed and your spirit cheerful. During the active period of ulcers, it is better to eat liquid or semi-liquid, easily digestible, nutritious food. In the past, some scholars developed a system of eating small and frequent meals for ulcer patients to avoid overeating or starving. In recent years, studies have shown that although eating can temporarily relieve pain, eating small and frequent meals constantly stimulates gastric acid secretion, making gastric acid secretion active all day, which is obviously not conducive to the healing of ulcers. Therefore, except for the short-term small and frequent meals during the acute attack period with complications of bleeding and vomiting blood, you should usually stick to a regular diet of three meals a day.

When you are pregnant, you should pay more attention to protecting your body. Don't worry too much if you have gastric ulcers during pregnancy. It is recommended that if you have gastric ulcers during pregnancy, you should not undergo fiber gastroscopy. So as to avoid miscarriage caused by stimulation. The most important thing is to control your diet. Eat regularly at ordinary times. Avoid eating spicy and irritating foods, as well as foods that are too cold, too hard, and difficult to digest. You can eat small meals frequently and develop good eating habits which is beneficial to recovery.
