What is the reason for watery and bloody leucorrhea?

Watery leucorrhea with streaks of blood is a sign of abnormal leucorrhea. Generally speaking, it should be caused by vaginitis, but the specific diagnosis still needs to be determined by medical examination. Vaginitis is very common among women nowadays, especially married women. The editor reminds everyone that sex life must be healthy, pay attention to personal hygiene, and keep the vulva clean. Especially during menstruation, you must pay more attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

Generally, if there is blood in the leucorrhea, it may be a gynecological infection, such as cervicitis, endometritis, etc.

Normal leucorrhea should be relatively transparent, have no peculiar smell, and may be slightly white in color. However, sometimes we will find that leucorrhea can appear in various colors. There is also the problem of the cervical canal. Submucosal fibroids and cervical fibroids can also cause bloody leucorrhea and bleeding. Cervical polyps can also be bloody and can cause these symptoms.

Most of the abnormal leucorrhea are caused by abnormal secretions of pathological diseases, and there are several symptoms:

1. Yellow watery leucorrhea: It often occurs after continuous vaginal bleeding, with a large amount of purulent and foul-smelling leucorrhea flowing out of the vagina. Advanced cervical cancer, endometrial cancer or submucosal fibroids with infection should be considered first.

2. Purulent leucorrhea: yellow or yellow-green in color, sticky or foamy, with a foul odor, mostly caused by vaginal inflammation.

3. Cheese-like leucorrhea or tofu-like leucorrhea: mostly caused by fungal infection.

4. Bloody leucorrhea: If there is blood mixed in the leucorrhea, you should be alert to the possibility of malignant tumors such as cervical cancer and endometrial cancer. 5. Urinary dysfunction with increased leucorrhea: In typical gonococcal infection, leucorrhea is like urethral secretions, with increased amount, yellow purulent, and showing signs of intense inflammatory reaction.

Abnormal leucorrhea is sometimes not a big deal, but sometimes it can affect your health, so you should go to a regular hospital for diagnosis and treatment. Women should pay attention to menstrual hygiene and avoid eating spicy, raw or cold foods. Keep yourself in a good mood and adjust your mental state. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables to replenish vitamins and water.
