What are the clinical manifestations of breast cysts?

Everyone may know that women's breast tissue is prone to some lesions, among which breast cysts are the most common one. Most women should have a certain understanding of the disease, but there are still some who are not clear about the specific symptoms, which may lead to greater blindness after becoming ill. Today, I will talk in detail about the clinical symptoms caused by breast cysts.

1. Symptoms of simple cysts. Simple cysts are breast secretions that are retained in the ductal tissue to form cysts. The breast epithelial cells in the affected area have obvious apocrine secretions. It is due to endocrine disorders that cause ductal epithelial hyperplasia and an increase in cells in the duct, which causes the duct to extend and tortuosity. The anterior wall of the folded part undergoes necrosis due to ischemia, forming a cyst. Patients often discover a lump accidentally. The lumps are round, oval, or ovoid, with smooth surfaces, clear boundaries, mobility, and single or multiple. In single cases, the lump grows rapidly, and the cyst is often accompanied by breast pain before menstruation.

2. Symptoms of milk cyst. Galactocele, also known as milk retention cyst, is mainly caused by blockage of a duct during lactation, which causes milk stasis and forms a cyst. It often occurs during pregnancy and lactation or after lactation. The lumps are mostly round or oval, with a smooth surface, a cystic feel, clear boundaries, wide mobility and no adhesion to the skin. When secondary infection occurs, local inflammatory reactions such as redness, swelling, heat and pain may be seen. There is enlarged lymph nodes in the axillary of the affected side, which belongs to the category of "breast lumps" in traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it is caused by liver depression, qi stagnation, and Chong and Ren disorders. Worrying too much hurts the spleen, causing liver qi stagnation, qi stagnation and blood stasis, spleen qi stagnation, dysfunction of transportation and transformation, internal generation of phlegm and turbidity, and the combination of phlegm and turbidity and blood stasis.

Therefore, the symptoms of breast cysts vary depending on the type of disease, but in general, they are discomfort in the breast area, so they are relatively easy to detect. The editor reminds all women to protect their breasts in daily life. If similar adverse reactions occur frequently, breast examinations should be carried out in time.
