What are the clinical manifestations of uterine hypertrophy?

The uterus is the most important part of our female body, so we must take good care of it. Today, I will explain to you the symptoms, judgment methods, correct treatment plans, and future precautions regarding the disease of uterine hypertrophy. I hope that this explanation can attract the attention of all female friends. Uterine diseases need our attention and solutions.

Uterine hypertrophy refers to the uniform enlargement of the uterus. The basic pathological changes of this disease are changes in the smooth muscle cells and blood vessel walls in the myometrium. The uterus is uniformly enlarged, with myometrial hypertrophy reaching 2.5 to 3.2 cm. The cross section is grayish white or pink, with increased hardness, and the fiber bundles are arranged in a woven manner. The arteries and veins are significantly dilated, and there are clusters of elastic fibers proliferating around the newly formed blood vessels. A disease accompanied by varying degrees of uterine bleeding. The main clinical symptom is increased leucorrhea. In addition, due to the proliferation of connective tissue and the spread of inflammation along the cervix or through the uterosacral ligament to the pelvic cavity, there is pain in the lumbar sacral region or a feeling of heaviness in the perineum.

Causes:

1. Uterine causes

(1) In multiparous women, elastic fibers in the uterine myometrium proliferate between smooth muscles and around blood vessels, causing uterine hypertrophy.

(2) Primary uterine vascular disease causes uterine hypertrophy.

2. Ovarian dysfunction

Continuous stimulation of estrogen can cause thickening of the uterine muscle layer. Clinically, patients with functional uterine bleeding, especially those with a long course of illness, often have varying degrees of uterine enlargement.

3. Caused by inflammation

Chronic adnexitis, pelvic connective tissue inflammation and chronic uterine myositis cause collagen fiber proliferation in the myometrium, resulting in uterine fibrosis.

4. Pelvic congestion

It causes hyperplasia of uterine connective tissue and may also lead to uterine hypertrophy.

5. Pathogens

The pathogens that cause cervical hypertrophy include mycoplasma, chlamydia, bacteria, and viruses.

After the detailed analysis above, I wonder how much each of you female friends know about your own physical condition. In our lives, women's bodies suffer a lot of invisible damage after working day and night. Our neglect and repeated lack of attention will bring a lot of pain to our middle-aged and elderly lives.
