Treatment for uterine septate

Treatment for uterine septate

Many female friends will suffer from some gynecological diseases, among which the most common problem is the female uterus. The uterus may develop uterine cancer, uterine septate, uterine fibroids and other diseases. These diseases are very harmful to women, so everyone should pay more attention to their bodies in daily life to prevent the occurrence of diseases. So, what are the treatment methods when you find that you have uterine septate?

Laparoscopic cold scissor separation

Uterine septum separation avoids the disadvantage of heavy bleeding in traditional surgery. It uses special technology, which results in less bleeding during and after the operation, less trauma, shorter recovery time, and less adhesion formation. In particular, the cold scissors protect the uterus and fertility capacity to the greatest extent and do not affect natural conception after surgery. The uterine cavity morphology returned to normal by more than 90%. The success rate of successful delivery after pregnancy is over 85%. Effective anti-adhesion methods are taken after hysteroseptum resection to prevent the occurrence of postoperative adhesions.

Traditional treatment

It will leave scars on the uterus and abdominal wall, cause great trauma, take a long time to recover, and even cause uterine adhesions, which will have a certain impact on future pregnancies. In addition, contraception will be required for several years before pregnancy, and most women will need a cesarean section.

Conventional treatment

The relative risk of miscarriage and premature birth caused by uterine septum ranges from 5% to 95%, so once discovered, it should be treated in advance. Before the advent of hysteroscopic surgery, the surgical methods for treating uterine septum were to remove the septum tissue vaginally or abdominally. The former was difficult to operate and blind, resulting in incomplete removal of the septum and poor results; abdominal surgery was to make a transverse incision at the fundus of the uterus to shear the septum, or to make a median incision in the uterine body to trim the uterine septum and reconstruct the uterine muscle wall. No matter which of the above surgical procedures is used, it will leave scars on the uterus and abdominal wall, cause great trauma, and take a long time to recover. It may even cause uterine adhesions, which will have a certain impact on future pregnancies. In addition, contraception will be required for several years before pregnancy, and cesarean section will often be required. Hysteroscopic resection of uterine septum is a minimally invasive surgical treatment. Hysteroscopic septum resection is to remove the residual embryonic tissue in the blood vessels. There is no obvious bleeding during the operation, little trauma, and quick recovery. The IUD is placed after the operation, and artificial cycle is used to prevent adhesions.

Hysteroscopic cold instrument and plasma electroacupuncture

Open the mediastinum instead of using an electrosurgical resection loop to remove the septum, as that will cause scar contracture and will not help expand the uterine cavity. It is safer and more accurate to do it under laparoscopic monitoring, and a biological anti-adhesive membrane will be inserted after the operation. In addition, for cases with a larger mediastinum, it is not necessary to correct it in one go and multiple surgeries may be required. However, it is important to avoid "overcorrection" as it will cause excessive scarring of the uterine fundus, which will in turn affect conception.

Many female friends will feel very panicked when they learn that they have a gynecological disease, because gynecological diseases are a very serious disease for women, which can cause great harm to the bodies of female friends. Therefore, everyone should do a good job of prevention in daily life and seek timely treatment when the disease is discovered.
