What should women do if they can’t hold their urine?

In life, some women may have difficulty holding their urine because of a whistle or a sneeze, which makes them feel very embarrassed. The main reason for not being able to hold urine is that the female urethra is smaller than that of men. So how should women solve the problem of not being able to hold urine? Next, follow the editor to take a look.

Incontinence is not uncommon

The bladder is where urine is stored in the human body, and urine is discharged from the body through the urethra. During urination, the muscles of the bladder wall contract, "squeezing" the urine out of the bladder and into the urethra. At the same time, the urethral sphincter relaxes, allowing the urine to be discharged smoothly from the body. Therefore, when the nerves controlling urination fail, the bladder muscles suddenly contract, or the urethral sphincter is not strong enough to "guard the door", urinary incontinence will occur. When you feel that you cannot control the discharge of urine, it may mean that urinary incontinence has come.

In most cases, there will only be a tiny amount of one or two drops. Of course, there may be occasional unfortunate cases where the flow is too heavy... However, don't think that incontinence is an unfortunate and embarrassing thing that only happens to you. It is much more common than you think. In the United States, approximately 25% to 45% of women suffer from urinary incontinence. Don’t think that urinary incontinence is a problem exclusive to middle-aged and elderly women. In fact, due to the influence of sports injuries or genetic factors of muscle damage, 20%-30% of female patients are young people.

Note:

It is not shameful to go to the toilet more often. Observe the shortest route to the toilet in advance and wear loose clothes in case of emergency.

Bladder exercises. Try to increase the time you hold your breath, control your emotions, take deep breaths, and slow down your breathing. For example, if you now go to the toilet every 30 minutes, you can gradually extend it to 40 minutes, 50 minutes, until the urgency symptoms are relieved.

Well, the above are some reasons why female incontinence occurs, as well as some solutions that the editor has compiled. The editor recommends that you pay more attention to conditioning in normal times. If you often can’t hold it, you can do some bladder exercises. If this situation has not been relieved, the editor recommends that you go to the hospital for examination and treatment immediately.
